I've only been roleplaying since I joined ChickenSmoothie two years ago, when I was horrible at it, couldn't speak proper English and could only do one-lined horse roleplays.

So I have a lot of 1x1s with a lot of cool people that I really need to reply to [will do so after this post!], but I was having a snack and watching a re-run of Ghost Whisperer on TV, and got an idea.

What if a select group of people [our characters], ran a paranormal detective agency? And some of them were exorcists and others just mediums, and they dealt with ghosts, hauntings, and such. And there could be another one or two characters who run their own shop for paranormal stuff and trinkets, but they don't want to meddle into the agency's dealings until an... incident, I guess. I need to think about it. And maybe I'll even let some people play a ghost, if they want to? Also, the plot will be more like little missions at the beginning, like, this ghost is bothering this person for this reason and the mystery needs to be solved and such until the plot can move on.

I think it'll be jolly good fun.

Also, I was thinking there could be a human character that isn't connected to either the shop or the agency, but can see ghosts. And they get mixed up in the whole business somehow.

So, there could be like. Two exorcists, one medium [or maybe two, I'm not sure], two characters who run their paranormal trinkets shop, one ghost, and one human. That's aboutt... 8 characters. The ghost, one medium [or the medium, haha], and one of the other characters [I'm not sure which herondale. wants?] are reserved. And of course, I'll be taking a character for myself, so that leaves four characters [or three, if I remove the second medium]. Or maybe there should be only one character who runs the shop? And they could somehow be connected to the ghost. And the ghost could be connected to the kid who can see ghosts.

Is anyone else interested in this?

Ceaderwood High School. On the outside, it may seem just like any other normal high school, but in reality, it is anything but. Ceaderwood High School is a very selective, prestigious school, that only children who excel physically and mentally may get in to. Well, they don't only just have to excel, they have to be better than everyone else. You see, the children who go to Ceaderwood have to have supernatural powers.

xoxoFounded back in the fifties when supernaturals were just coming out of hiding, Ceaderwood has long been known for its amazing students, and its vicious cliques. There are four main cliques, the elementals, for those with powers over the elements, the mentals, for those with powers controlled by the mind, the physicals, for those with powers that allow them to excel physically, and the shifters, who can either shift into living or non-living animals or objects. Anyone who doesn't fit into one of these four cliques is labeled an “outsider”, and their only chance of having good friends and popularity is if one of the members of the four main cliques takes them under their wing.

It's a vicious, classist society, but hey, in life, what isn't?

...I'm going to worship the ground you walk on, if you don't mind. I've been wanting a paranormal roleplay since the beginning of my RP experience-- the only good one I managed to join died after a couple pages. :( So I'd definitely love to see this happen! :D
