well, i'm actually only in one one on one right now because i've never gotten too into them. but i get responses within a day or so. me, on the other hand... ackk i'm afraid she hates me because i never ever reply in a timely manner!

It depends on the roleplay. I can be really impatient, but that's if my muse hasn't failed me.
For some reason, I hate it when my partners go from several posts a day to weeks on end to reply.

I have about thirty And I'm pretty happy with a once a week reply, or a reply a week from when I post. It makes it less stressful, and it feels like I'm not so rushed.
I can wait quite a while for posts, but I tend to not like waiting more than a month or so on a regular basis. If its only here or there then it's fine
And I like being given at least two or three days from when I post and when my partner posts, otherwise I feel super bad about taking so long to reply ;-;

I kinda want a courty girl city boy 1x1, or a country girl country boy. I would want to be the girl in the first pairing, but I could play either in the second. XP I know its over done, but its what I want.

about 1x1s, it depends on the length of the posts for me. obviously i get my lame old 1 paragraph posts up within a day if i get online, but if you're asking for like 600+ words, it depends largely on my mood. i tend to reply within 2-3 days though.

for my partners i'm happy to wait for a week or longer, especially if they tell me beforehand they won't be posting so much and all.

The 1x1 that I am currently in that is my favorite is really active. [Link here - in about a week, we've done 7 pages] When one of us gets online, we post like 5-6 times a day, sometimes more if we come on at the same time. The posts range from 2,000+ words, to 300 words depending on what we're responding to. But we both make an effort to post as soon as the other one has, and it's always my top priority because of that. It's with a person that I've been RPing with since 2010, and part of the reason why I LOVE rp'ing with her (besides the awesome plot/characters) is because of how active she is - it's amazing! XD

This is probably not the right place to be saying this, because it seems like everyone here agrees that an active RP is one that has a post every week or so. XD But for me personally, I can only become obsessed with a role-play when it is insanely active. I mean sure, I'm in some pretty awesome ones that get posts 1-2 a week, and I enjoy them. But when I revisit one that has been posted on for the first time in months, I kind of ask myself: "Okay, why was I so obsessed with this?" Maybe I've just got a short attention span, but it's just really hard for me to be really excited about a roleplay that is so inactive that some users would consider it grave-digging whenever the other posts.
