I really hate roleplays centered on romance
Seriously people, I won't walk up to a person and fall in love with them. That's called being obsessed or a stalker.

I also don't like people who shun homosexual roleplays just because they aren't experienced. You never know until you try. But I also agree with you guys. Being bi, I raly hate it when peopl think that gay couples it's just some total passion thing. No. We fight same as you. We have troubles to overcome just like you. We don't skip right to the sappy romance and passionate kissing.

A lot of people on cs forget the roleplaying rules too. .
I don't check messages here. If you've found me through other websites or communities such as deviantART/Kiamaras, my characters are not for sale and never will be.

i've noticed that pretty much the entirety of the roleplays i'm in are either generally centered around or include a great deal of romance, and this is starting to irk me. i don't have a problem with it, it's just .. eh. the plotlines start out great, but then the characters fall for each other and sit around being romantic and it all gets a bit dull, to be honest.
if anyone has a plotline they're willing to throw at me for a onexone without any romance in it and are willing to start bashing me if i try to incorporate romance then i'd be really greatful. i dunno why this has just come up now but.. eh. probably cos of the above post if i'm honest xD

I too dislike plots that are solely focused on romance. A little romance is okay - I'm the first to admit this. But if there is absolutely nothing else going on BUT kissing/gushy mary sue-ness, then I have to evacuate the building. XD

Rivkah, Octave and Cloudy, thank you for saying this. Out of all my active roleplays, I have only one, maybe two, that are romantically focused. It's so hard to get romantic based ones to live and breath and actually be interesting! Besides, there's other things in life beyond who kisses whom.

Alas, I haven't got any time for extra 1x1's, but it's nice to know there are others out there who aren't completely into the romance-focused ones. (Omg I'm not a total weirdo *throws confetti in the air*).
INSANELY BUSY!
I am moving! For the next month or so, I am going to be so very busy.
If I'm on here, it's because I'm unwinding with writing or pets or whatever.
Please do not add to my stress, if you can. Your support is appreciated.

I do my best to keep an equal balance in my role-plays. I like having romance in them, but I like fights between characters too. Most of the time in real life role-plays I focus more on what my character (or both) are going through and what obstacles they overcome and not the romance part of it.
Most of the romance ones do get real old real fast though, since a lot of the time I end up wondering where to go next since there's not a lot of plot
.-.
I don't know how well I actually do with this though

GUUUUUUUUUUUYS!

My friend got Appendicitis and was in the ER, so please excuse my recent absence. I love him to death and dunno what I'd do if I lost him after my recent troubles. ////STRESS

ANYWAYS. I'm moving on the 15th.. And I dunno if I'll be around much after I leave AR.. I want you all to know I love you and will be on and off for a while now. I have lots of packing to do and visiting friends that I'll probably never see again. /morbid

BUT FOR REAL. Does anyone wanna do a silly, pointless, illiterate RP with me? xD Something that'll make me laugh and so we can all BOND AND BE BESTIES?!

-pops in-

It's hard to have a strictly romance-based roleplay. Especially what most people consider romance roleplays. They want nothing but sappy, lovey-dovey all the time, but there's really only so much of that you can do before it gets repetitive. I've noticed that most of my roleplays have moved from strictly romance to just life in general. Kind of like how Rosie put it. Obstacles and all that.
On the other hand, I also find it really difficult to completely omit any romance from roleplays. It usually just naturally develops if you go through a plot long enough.

ouch. i've had appendicitis and it hurts so badly. i hope it didn't explode before surgery. gosh, it hurts. tell him that a friend [being me] suggests eating light soups for a couple of days and slowly getting back to solids. at first, solids don't seem bad, but they do come back to pain you.
sorry that this post had nothing to do with role-plays, i just felt that a tip was necessary.
woah guys, i'm back, after a very long time.
missed this place <3

My sympathies for your friends. That's awful. D:

As to the roleplay, *snatch* Oh gods yes, I could use something to unwind.
