Almost as much as when people roleplay in colored font. o.o (No offense to a lot of you, it's just a personal preference.) I like roleplaying to actually look like we're making a story, which we are. And when I write, I write respectfully, which includes having the right letters. Personally the best thing anyone could ever do for me would be completely normal font, not centered, not shrinked, not colored, and with the right size of letter.

Please do not be discouraged if you have not been accepted. Just work on your writing, and come back in a month or so. c: Roleplay is meant to be enjoyed, so please, just have fun with it! If you are not on this list, please do not be offended either. You are very close to meeting the unspoken requirements. Take some time to practice and remember to reapply soon! c:
If you have any further questions, please PM me! Before you do though, check to make sure your examples weren't intro posts. We can tell if they were, and that is a big reason we don't accept people. IT SAYS IN THE RULES NOT TO USE INTRO POSTS AS EXAMPLES.
Want some help improving your writing? If there are somethings you need to work on in order to reach that goal of Semi-Literate, check out the Illiterate to Literate RP School! A few of our members run the place, and can help you close the gap from Illiterate to Semi-Literate! ^^
Also, a small note to everyone, if you have not been accepted, do not post after you've posted your form until you have been accepted!
Thanks! c:

This story takes place in a small coastal town, the home of each of our characters. The town thrives on tourism, and depends on it for economic reasons. If all tourism suddenly stopped, most of the town would go bankrupt and get forced to move out of the place they've all grown up in and lived their whole lives. Thankfully, the steady flow of travelers looking for a quiet beach vacation has prevented this from ever happening.
But this is where our characters come in. >;D
School has let out, and a group of teenagers made their way out to one of the rock-covered beaches that most avoid. That night, each and every one of them was involved in what townspeople refer to as the "accident". It seemed to sweep across the media, by the next day it was all the rage. Nobody was unaware of what had happened, no matter how far away. For several weeks, it was all newscasters talked about, and the main article in blocky red letters across every magazine. Because of this so-called accident, our little town now has lost it's tourism industry. Nobody wants to be anywhere around the place that it happened.
A town meeting was declared, and each of the teenagers called to it. Their punishment was final, they had one year to plan the biggest event they could, and to draw in as many tourists as they could. Between that time and then, they would be doing anything they could to get positive attention. And that meant anything.
That's the skeleton of the plot so far, it's a bit of a mish-mash at the moment. However, there's one thing that makes the characters special.
Each one is going to be based after a stereotypical holiday.
I'm trying to tie in the whole event thing, so each of them has a polar opposite idea of what they should do for the event. It wouldn't be a given character, only a couple words about how your character should be in general.
Problem is, I need more holidays. >_>
If anyone has any, please send them. This is going to be a larger group roleplay if there's any interest. Plus, the plot is only still a skeleton of everything, so it'll change. Lastly, I'm on m phone at the moment, so ignore anything autocorrect does. o_o

if it doesn't have those things, can I do a Halloween boy?
And what's the accident?
