{I do~
I do remember you! :'D
Know more? Such as place and whatnot? Or, like, plot? Or, like, what? xD
Well, lemme try and sum things up a bit better, then? I've thought out a couple more things. I don't know where this would be going, though.
Pretty much, you have a certain Tarot card. The tarot card you have (out of the trump/major arcana) ranks your place in the small community like area that the rest of the people with tarot cards in the main arcana live in. Like, a secret-ish organization. It's not really secret, though, since people know what the place houses, and whatnot. But, secret as to what occurs on the inside. So, they're a known organization type thing. No one, outside of the small area, knows who they are, what they look like, or any of that. So they do have 'normal' lives outside of the community/area they live in. They have certain traits given to them depending on which card was chosen, so it's already preset, based on what the cards signify, but with room to be able to make other things, as well.
This takes place in non-modern times, but mixed with different times in the past. (As an example, we'll say that there are ninja and carriages. This was just an example xD) It's a place by lots and lots of forest and mountainous terrains, with just one lake, on the south side of the area. The place outside of their closed community is pretty much like fruit stands and food stands, alongside some in building stores as well, but these would be more for wares, than food. Shady people here and there, and two story houses. No apartments, and a multitude of churches and those things. (Like I said, mixed~) There are classes, such as rich and poor. But, more of a choice. Like, instead of three, there's more like five. The economy isn't bad, in this area, though. It's just normal. There are still thieves, and whatnot. Criminals. It seems like a nice place to live in despite the things occurring that people don't know about.
So, people a long time ago were able to 'forge' contracts with the Arcana Major's maker (Spiritual things), and then gained whatever the card they chose brought them. It would then be passed down to a random infant the god chose whenever the previous one had died. There was a choice whether or not to take it, as part of the deal. If the person chose not to accept it, it would move on to another, and the memory of the person who didn't accept would go away. It would appeal to the people, with desires. Wishes. Like, a trick to make them accept it. It would morph an infants personality when given, or make a once blooming child the most depressed. Sooner or later, the effects became less...infuriating to see. It enhanced some skills, depending, again. A person who had Death would be able to run quicker than one who had Fool. Yet it also enhanced some negative traits, such as Death would have a harder time waking up, compared to Fool. After a while, the people who had accepted these thought that it didn't matter. It didn't do anything for them, not one thing. They would ignore the others, (Whom they were drawn to like family), and try and get along with the other, normal people. Of course, since they weren't able to be told the 'rules' they didn't know that if the bonds with the other 'family' didn't grow, or never moved, they would ultimately die of a heart attack. But, as an alternative, if the person who controlled the card gained more for their bonds, and then lost, nothing would happen at the most. Unless, they completely stopped trying to help. It was an inevitable way to gain more enhanced skills, yet also, on the god's side, was meant to keep those who had said enhanced powers at bay with each other. Ultimately, it had no good effects, but was passed down by a 'stupid mistake'.
The community they live in was founded by a woman with the name Charlotte Heathersfield. It was used originally as only a gathering place for them, once a year, but when found that most never came the next year, it still continued for a while. People would drop dead like flies, one after another. They only figured it out after even Heathersfield died of a heart attack. Construction was made on the building (as it was at the moment) and took seven long years to finish. All while the people who were given that power were still dying. When the building was finished, it was still small, but could house the people. It became known as the Arcadia. Soon to be changed to the Arcanum. The building had been put under construction again, and was soon looking like three mansions in one, creating a circle shape, closed off from any of the people from the village, and forest grown around it. It was, in total, secluded from the entire place. Save for itself. To offer a place for the people with the Arcana to live and grow there, as a 'family' not related by blood, even. Because, they realized, it was how it had to be. It was how they had agreed to it, and it was their own fault. They had also noticed that since this had occurred, the building, that less deaths occurred. Maybe one or two out of the entire time. The span of ages had soon went from 1-25 to 1-56. And soon, it was that people could live until their late 60s. The idea had worked, so they assumed. But, they hadn't realized that while their lives went longer, they were condemning themselves to solitude. That alone could have been a cause for their shortened lives. They began working to make a path between the two, village and community. The path was completed in a year and a half.
Nonetheless, the rates of life increased. They had to live with the knowledge that if they were to not live within their 'family' they'd die. And so, they lived there, within the walls. No matter how detestable the people were to them, at least one they'd get along with, and they wouldn't have to die so fast. Right?
But, there was always the chance of attack. Always. No one, including the normal people, was safe.

Okay, that might have just confused everyone more.....?
xD
Well, anyways, I think I overdid that.
Pretty much, it's preset personalities, part of it. The cards make something of your characters increase, and something decreases, slightly.
I'll monitor the heart gauge. So, on the main page, I'd have the status of hearts, and you'll tell me what to put. So, if you're close to dying, you'll need to fix that. (I won't kill anyone unless you want to die, pass on the Arcana, and play that character. Or just leave the RP?)
So, the way you RP, I think, will have effect on the character's status (I think this is how I'd like to try it.)
You can ask me any questions C: Or suggestions?}
