Kinda off topic but i just watched "Return of Harmony" again and i just noticed Discord's wings are so small he should not be able to fly. It doesn't make sense logically. (Of course neither do hot pink ponies..) The Pegasi have wings that look like they would have enough lift to fly though...

This is Discord. Make he sense doesn't.... //whut

Well, I figure his magic assists in his flight.
I think that all pony types have magic, each of different sorts.
Unicorns: Obviously telekinetic magic, and some can perform other spell types with it.
Earth ponies: Magic relating to plants and food, since they are apparently the only ones who can grow food. See Hearth's Warming Eve.
Pegasi: Magic enabling flight where physics wouldn't allow, and the ability to work with weather.

Hence Discord's flight would also be assisted by magic.

Just an idea.

The body is barely the length of one of it's wings!

Now, let's look at Dashie.

Her wing is probably the size of her head+neck. And she's a horse so she weighs more than bird who have airy bones. My headcanon is that Pegasi have bones like that, but it doesn't make much since considering Rainbow Dash runs into things 24/7. She probably be a pile of broken bones and flesh by now. Anyways, Rainbow(and other Pegasi) should be incapable of flight.
