My opinion on the "Wonderbolt Academy", and some questions I had that relate to the episode. (Don't worry; this won't turn into a rant like my review of "Magic Duel" did.)
In the beginning, I thought Lightning Dust was AWESOME. But as the episode progressed, I found myself having a sudden dislike of her flippant attitude. By the time the episode ended, I realized I still liked her, but her attitude needed some improvement. She just nearly killed five of RD's friends and nearly destroyed the Academy with a tornado, and didn't seem to have a problem with that? I still love her design and character; but her attitude needs some SERIOUS working on.
Spitfire = 100% AWESOME! She's not as calm as I remember her. She was in the "Best Night Ever" episode; and was much calmer. Not quite so strict. At times in this episode, she almost seemed mean. Like a Drill Sargent. I love how she praised RD for having some morals; and I'm ultimately pleased with her character. Also, we got to see what her cutie mark is! 
Pinkie Pie....well, where do I start? SO much shipping with RD in this episode. *facepalm* I don't exactly support the shipping, so that wasn't enjoyable for me. And half of the time, Pinkie didn't seem like herself. I mean, the other half she seemed perfectly Pinkie...but then there were times where I was thinking, "Someone's changed Pinkie...she doesn't seem quite so normal anymore..." I still loved her contribution to the episode, however.
Finally! Twilight gets some lines! The last episode that aired didn't have her at all...and I actually found myself missing her. It was nice to hear some logic out of Pinkie's wacked-out freak out sessions. X)
Overall, a great episode; but not as good as the last one. I liked "Sleepless in Ponyville" better. While I liked that one better, the moral of this episode was very good. If you stick up for what you know is right; you may be fired from a job you have...but you will at least know that you're on good standing. You know that you stood up for what was right; even if you lose your job, or don't get to go to a certain Academy.
Of course, in this episode, RD DID get to continue going to the Academy. But in some circumstances, you won't get to stay. I think it was a good lesson that we should all stick by our morals...even if our situations don't end up so sunny.
My only question that was related to this episode is will RD be back to ponyville, or will she take up her dreams of becoming a Wonderbolt?Daddy Discord. wrote:Can't.... stop... laughing.... X'D

Quite an interesting story. I didn't find it funny; but it was quite interesting to see from someone else's point of view what chaos Discord could possibly continue to wreak. X)

Yes, it is against the rules. But stating you hate a shipping isn't bashing it. Bashing it would be hating it with no real reason...or hating it and commenting constantly on how much you hate it...or outwardly hating a person for liking it. This is the first time I've heard ANYONE disagree with FutterDash or PinkieDash, just as I do. I disagree with both the pairings. They seem very unlikely to happen...the ponies are just too different from each other to make it work. And that's my opinion.
However, if you like those pairings, I have nothing against you. I respect that you like them; and you'll just have to respect that I don't. It's fine to disagree. We all have different opinions. X)
And...as you'll see below...the person apologized and said that "hate" was a strong word. X) So, no harm done, right?

In retrospect, "hate" comes off as a strong word and I apologize for using it, but I do not think I was bashing, and I'll elaborate further.
Fluttery and Rainbow Dash knew each other as foals, and in my headcanon, they have a special bond. Turning that close friendship into a romantic relationship just doesn't sit well with me. I imagine that Fluttershy is the one Dash goes to when she has a problem and vice versa, and for that reason, I love them too much as friends to think of them as partners.
(.......) Just as I can only think of Dash and Flutters as foalhood friends, she and Pinkie will only ever be pranking partners in my mind.
I hope that has cleared up the misunderstanding, and I apologize again if it looked like I was bashing.
I agree. Flutters and RD are too good as friends to be shipped in a romantic way. And Pinkie and Dashie are just pranking friends; and probably never something more. But, as I stated before, this is just my personal opinion. It's okay if you disagree with it.
