did you people ever consider that in some cases the horses love what they do? secratariat was a race horse and he wasn't abused and as far as i know nither black caviar or zenyatta are abused.

some aren't, but if they were looked after, and they were never abused then there wouldn't be 420 horses that are killed by the racing industry every year.

maybe it's not all abuse. what if a horse had a weak leg and the owners had no idea.then the horse went and raced and broke its leg. that's not exactly the racing industry's fault it was a accident

Couldn't you book a hack from your local riding school? Most of the schools around here do regular rides out that anybody can book on to
