I have a question for you guys as well!
Do you ever regret choosing the town you did? Sometimes I look at my map and feel like screaming in frustration because my town seems so inconvenient for pretty landscaping, but im too attached to restart xc

that happened to me with my first town; I got it the day it released in Aus and didn't look at anything online, chose the first map I got and sped off. A few weeks later I found all these different guides and tips and stuff to getting a great town layout, and I was so annoyed; but it wasn't until I really decided to landscape my town months later that I realised how bad my town was. ewe
I ended up resetting in october, and actually tried to get a nice map without resetting for ages aha. I really love the map I have, apart from one pond and a rock that get in the way of a big path leading from my train station to my plaza D; but I've learned to live with it, and so far I'm pretty happy with how my town's getting along!

on another note, I'm looking to get some items from my wishlist!
I'm willing to pay in bells, perfect peaches, or items from your own wishlist (if I have them)! c:

It's when you go 365 days without time traveling or missing a day of playing.

You can miss a day if your sick and just go back and make it up when you're better but I have added rules:
NO character resetting AT ALL
Water all plants daily, NO beautiful town
If a villager pings to move, they're GONE no matter what
and some others

I had made up my rules for myself during my 3 days XD:
Absolutely NO Time Traveling
NO skipping days
You may have one sick day
You must accept all villager pings no matter what (aka, all the stuff they want you to do, give people gifts, moves, nicknames, etc.)
The town must have no weeds and plants watered every day.
And so on. Well as I said, that was In effect for only 3 days XD

I didn't really create any rules, just gonna play it how it comes ;p

speaking of town layout and placement, i have another question! i swear this is my last one today cx)
Do you prefer your mayors house isolated, or near villagers? I have a little spot where i plan to group all of my villagers in a tiny neighborhood sorta thing, and I absolutely love living next to them!

I don't really care about where my villagers live, (as long as it doesn't kill one of my beautiful flowers/barely any trees >w<)
but I can say that almost half of my town lives very near my house (Julian, Kidd, & Pietro <33)

about the camping thing;
Stitch was in my camp one day and Pango was just about to move out and it was just like omg you should've come tomorrow ;OOO;

I got Flora (who is a flamingo, of all things) to move in via the Campsite today! But not before she stole my fishing rod. DX (What on Earth are galoshes?) Luckily, I brought a new one.

EDIT: I'm looking at the WW 1-year log that someone posted earlier, and it's looking really good so far!
