Well, I got bored this evening and reset my AC:NF. Clean slate, new villagers. What more could I ask for? This time, I started with a male mayor and named him Ignis.

Elvis, Dizzy, Daisy and I forget the other yes names. One is a greenish duck with a white thing on its head and a brown cow thing.

Vesta in my campsite today, and since I have a free slot i've asked her to move in. She won't be permanent, but you can't knock a cute filler villager~ Will mention her again when she's leaving if anyone was looking for her x3

ughhh I get this so much D|
by far this is my least favourite aspect of the whole game - I never thought I'd miss the signposts so much ;v;
my strategy nowadays is to just keep my fourth player slot free, and create a new player every day someone could move in
(e.g. three days after someone else has moved out)
although then when I try and plot reset it takes me hours to get the house in a spot that doesn't ruin all my paths or gardens oTL

i always thought that planting trees and dropping stuff in places you don't want them would keep them from placing their houses there.
THERE IS SO MUCH ROOM FOR THEM TO MOVE IN OTHER PLACES

I'm going to start placing and building benches all over, just to get them away from that spot and I'll distroy them later... when I have all the villagers I want.

When you know they'll be someone moving in, you don't start up as your mayor. Instead you create a new character, see if the plot is where you want it, and if it is build the character's house (and delete it right after). If not keep resetting until it's where you want it. Works for campsites too. You can reset till you get a good camper as long as you don't choose your mayor. I always get my mayor up at 5:58am of the day I want to reset and start from there :3
