I've only gotten through one, those checks are such a pain. I freaked out thinking my game had a bug when she didn't show up for 60+ days -I might time travel a tad- before I realized I need the nook TIY place.

I got 'cute' for the first one, which was lucky. I passed with a bunny outfit and a mustache-glasses accessory, which I will never understand. Now I buy anything from the able sisters from a 'look' I don't have, and I'm filling a display room at the museum with it.

Also, the stalk market is awesome. Someone who had them selling for ~607 bells let me into their town for several runs of turnip selling. I gave them 99,000 bells for every pocket-full of turnips I sold, and still made 10,000,000 bells.

My first was cute, second was rock and roll, which is harder but luckily Samus costume set falls into that and i have the entire thing so I threw that on xD

Ok guys im a little confused
So I donated a piece of artwork to the Museum Blather's told me that he wanted a second floor. But I only have 20+ fossils a few fish and bugs and one piece of artwork. I thought it was 20 in each catagory to get the second floor?
