That's because bugs of a species look exactly the same in Animal Crossing, there's no such thing as female or male when it comes to bugs, but here is the prize of my collection, the Atlas Moth, the largest species of moth in the world, I believe this is an actual size picture

I got NL for my birthday yesterday. I am enjoying it so far and can't wait for my house because I paid off my mortgage.

Not sure, I doubt it, but also, I think you meant the bottom left one, that's the one in animal crossing, the one on the right is the girl, the male and the female Atlas Moth are my prized beauties

oh right whoops lol,anyways yeah hardly think AC would have these a bugs,lantern moths are a very close look-a-like
