Solloby, here's a bunch:
The (New) Agency
Symphony Character Adoption Agency
Pound of Hope (currently closed, though)
Silver Lining Adoption Place
Break of Dawn
Second Chance
Your opinion on adopting characters from adoption agencies? [ie. Pound of Hope, The Agency, Symphony Character Adoption Agency, Break of Dawn, etc.]
Editing in my own question. I like them, obviously, as I own the SCAA, co-own SLAP, and have applied at all of the others listed in this question. I think that this way, forcing someone to think out a character's personality and past, you can insure that characters go to the best home possible. Because adopters worked hard on their applications and hopefully have connected with the characters in the process of writing for them, they're more likely to keep the character, or at least improve the time length that the character spends with them. I've learned a lot about characters since getting my first fursona, and if there's one thing that stands out above all other things it is that though fictional, mere pixels, possibly even ridiculous, characters [this means REAL, DEVELOPED characters] must be cared for.
