Do you use your characters for stories/comics, or just for fun?

As for me, most of mine are in the same story: Venice's. I do have another story I'll be working on after that one is done, but I have a few characters that are just for fun. ^^

Do you use your characters for stories/comics, or just for fun?
I don't write stories anymore, so I suppose I use them for fun. I do have a fair share of storylines and histories written out for them, most of which have been developed through discussions and roleplays. But in the end, they're just my babies, and I use them whenever I can. Too bad there aren't that many opportunities these days to use them to their full extent.

I did at some point wanted to turn Draca's backstory into a comic, and I've been wanting to do that for years. I'm just waiting on the moment my art skills are good enough. So, I imagine it'll take a while still. If my lack of motivation doesn't block me once more.

All three. I use most of them for roleplays and the occasional short story or poem if I can find the time. I need to fix up one short story before putting it up for others to read.

Most were just for fun, while some are used in (such as Caffeine) stories and others (Naomi, Zafia and a lot more) for comics.

I guess I do more or less the same as Draca - they technically have stories but they aren't all written out. I'm not comfortable enough with my own writing to do much with it, though I do have big stories sitting around from nanowrimo. Mostly I just work things out in my head.

and this art is by a tumblr user whose username and blog are really not appropriate for CS so it's probably not a good idea to give their url here.
He's a computer nerd who got a love of piercings and weird hair colours from his big sister. He works as a computer programmer, friendly enough but with a tendency to stick to a small circle of friends. He tends to stay quiet about things and avoid confrontation as opposed to his sister. I really love this character but he needs more of a story and other characters to interact with.

Many of my characters have stories, some getting rather fleshed out at this point, but I do not write them out since I'm not really a good writer. I just treat characters are tools that are fun to play around with, and they're rather nice to draw as well.

Ebonpyre ~ Pfft, he is amazing. I haven't seen many OC's that have had their tongue split like that. You can always go through your characters to see if you have any that would make nice friends with him. AS for coming up with more of a story try major events in his life.

Stripey ~ This isn't really the place for advertisements dear.

Lunar is the very first character I ever made. She is rather layed back and sticks close to her friend group. She prefers to travel more than stay in one place, which is perfectly fine in the world she lives in.

Kind of both, they are for fun, but I have story ideas floating around needing to be written, using my characters, so soon it will be for stories too. Possibly 2 or 3 stories
