Singers on CS ~ New and in need of mini-mods!

Ahhh. In my chorus, we're singing a song that seems a lot like that. Bring Him Home, from Les Miserables. The sopranos have the melody, the tenors more or less have it too, the altos are all over the place, and the bass section hardly moves.

My range is frustrating. ;u; I'm not sure about the actual notes, but I can sing a medium-high tenor part at the lowest, though on a good day I can dip a little lower, and a hiiigh soprano part pretty much whenever. It's frustrating because girls aren't allowed to try out for tenor solos, regardless of if you can hit the notes or not.

The extreme high for tenors is A5 which is well within mezzo and sopranos ranges. Basically I have sung a tenor part beofre but we took it up the octave because we were all girls and it's easier to take a tenor's part up to soprano rather than a mezzos part.

Ermahgerd. ;u; I may get to sing On My Own for a Solofest. It's just a level 4 song, but it's so pretty and there's so much emotion.

4 days until opening night! For those who don't have a radio mic, there are suspended mics that will pickup everyone's voices , and the head of music made sure that I'm under one of them. I normally do get into character much more just before the show really starts! (I really do like old deuteronomy, as it's a very relaxed song, and we can do what we want in that!) But it's going to look so good when we have all our makeup, wigs, tails, and unitards!

Hey, guys. Haven't posted in awhile ^^ Anyway, I'm thinking of singing If This Was A Movie or Love Story soon. On youtube, I mean. But yeah, right now I'm curling my hair with a sock xD I tuned my guitar today, and I'm learning a few chords. When I get better, I really wanna try and write my own songs, or play a few Taylor Swift songs.
