So, you like to sing?

I'm not surprised. A lot of people do! While there are folks who have a great time belting out the latest pop songs in the shower, or shouting along the lyrics at your favourite band's concerts, this club is for more serious members. We try for years to achieve perfect pitch, study theory like it's the secret to living forever, and we'd gladly join any chorus that'll put up with us.

This thread is the place to discuss songs you're learning, conductors you've learned to love, chorus trips you've gone on, and to give and get advice to help each other on our paths of vocal beauty. Maybe, you're not in a chorus, but you've taught yourself and you've got a youtube channel dedicated to sharing your voice with the world. If you're serious about it, you're welcome here!

Here at Singers on CS, we have a fun little thing called our topic of the week! It's meant to keep the thread from going dead. If you can't think of anything to talk about, take a peek at the topic! It's not required that you talk about the topic, but it'll help others learn about you!

With all these new movies with great soundtracks out, what's your favourite soundtrack? How about your favourite movie song overall?

The rules are fairly simple...
1. You have to be a singer to join, obviously.
2. Please, be kind to everybody. If you're not, you could be warned or eventually banned.
3. If you dislike a certain song/style/anything, give good reason to why instead of just saying "ERMAHGERD, I HATE DIS." If you can't give any decent reasons, just keep quiet about it.
4. Please, don't just post your entry form and never show up again.

That's what i'm gonna do! I've recently been trying to write my own songs, without much luck. I think i'll just stick to singing first. The person who inspired me to try and write songs and sing, was the person in my name and avatar and siggy and heart lol. Demi Lovato. She wrote most of her songs about her life, like for example For The Love Of A Daughter. That's about her estranged father whom she hasn't spoken to in five years. Now i'm getting a little older, i've got more of a social and love life, so i'm trying to turn that into some lyrics.
