Charging more for the more art a character has, or no?
I'm not really sure what to say on it. It's kind of, well, disrespectful in a way.
I think this is kind of important, even if we don't charge real money (though some do).

I was just about to post this too, I just saw it.

I think griff believes we sell the art of the commissioner as if it was ours. But that being the case or not I guess its really not a good idea to sell the art that someone made of a character or the character themself.
But what if you really didn't even use it anymore and didn't like /the character/ so you're stuck with all the art made of it and you just delete it?
What she said really made me think what we do is bad but I don't know.
I personally now think we shouldn't sell our characters for profit or really sell them at all.
Its ironic how I just posted that stuff too. ^^;

I guess I really wouldn't like if someone sold a character I given art too and they were using the art and I had no idea what happened.
I don't know, I'm going to back and forth with it, its really hard to judge.
It is disrespectful, but does it bother everyone?

Whoa. I never thought about that before.
I find it totally fitting what Griffsnuff said. This is just reselling art someone else made, which is not allowed anywhere. Not here - read the rules if you aren't sure - and probably not on any other site. I don't want my art being resold!

I totally agree with this. Totally.
Maybe we should make a rule on the CAAA, something like "asking for more payment because the character has more art, isn't allowed" because of that.

Hmm..

It's a pretty confusing subject. There's two conflicting opinions, wat do?

I'm trying to justify it, and in my head I've got some vague idea of how it'd be acceptable, but I can't seem to piece it together. I shouldn't have intelligent debates when I'm tired.

For now, I guess I'll just stay in the middle. Neutral. I don't personally charge extra for any extra art characters may have, but that's just me.
