Dyslexia,dyscalculia, and dysgrapsia club!

Anyone with any of these is welcome here. (if I'm missing something please tell me) I haven't seen a dislexia club, so I thought I'd start one. I thought I'd start one because well... It's hard having one of these! Your told your stupid a lot for not being able to write or spell well, or for struggling to read or do simple math. Teachers act like your stupid. When only really you know, your Not.Plenty of Dislexics have grown up to be famous.

What is it?

If you don't know, they are learning disabilitys. No, it Dosent mean we are slow or stupid. You can look them if your curious to find out more.

(please do not post on here saying you think you have one of these. I doubt you do. And if you want to find out, please ask a teacher or your perents about it. Sorry if this is rude, but it's really annoying)

How long have you known about it?: I've had my suspicions for a while, but only recently I was like "oh man, I might have this!"
Anything else?: Im no sure if I have dyslexia, I haven't been tested for it or anything yet, but I have all of the symptoms and REALLY think I do. Like, a lot.

WELL,when i was younger i was absloutley terrible at reading spelling and math for that matter! my first grade teacher thought i was utterly stupid and held me back a grade when all i needed was extera help in understanding what i was even learning. right away my parents knew i had dislexia and knew what to do. on my father's side my dad, aunt, uncle, and grandmother all had dislexia! or should i say have..... anyway, my mom homeschooled me from then on and i some how flurished in my reading and writing when all i did was read and read and read and read! the funny thing is it was easier for me to read backwards.... the bad thing is that i few back in math needing help... even now im stll trying to cetch up with my grade level! i know how to do the problems but something just makes me frustrated and i cant seem to memorixze anything im supposed to, like in multaplacation! i forget them so easy! im always forgetting thinks! ex: i'll get something i need like water. im thinking about what want to get then i forgt what im even doing in the kitchen and go back to my room.

yea, my parents put it as "disabled to math" in some ways because i cant seem to do it and my teacher is always giving me extra work thinking it will make it better than just sitting down and asking what in the hay is wrong with me :I

I don't have as much trouble with numbers, but I get words and letters mixed up A LOT. I also skip and mix lines and stuff. I have an absolutely terrible memory (which I'm now known for ugh) the worst of anyone I've ever known .-. My teachers always said I'm an excellent reader, but it actually takes my like a second to concentrate hard on a word to tell what it is, but I try to do it fast so people never notice

Why do you want to join?: To talk to people who have the same problems that I do
What do you have?: Dyslexia (and possibly dyspraxia- people who know me (one of whom has dyspraxia) says I have it but the latest dyslexia/dyspraxia test I did at uni said I didn't have it. Even the lady giving the test said that she expected the test to come out positive!)
How long have you known about it?: 12 years
Anything else?: My dyslexia affects my spelling and short term memory, so if anybody needs any help in those areas, I've managed to gather loads of coping strategies over the years. Unfortunately I've got so good at hiding my problems that at least one of my university lecturers didn't believe that I was dyslexic!
