Yay! I'm starting to barrel race :3 I am also entering this horse show coming up where I need to dress up my horse AND myself! It's a Halloween themed one.

Cool, I ride English and want to learn western, but my mother says I have to be a great rider to at English, then try western, barrel racing seems so fun. I would love to try. I just got back from riding for the first time this week, I made her sweat a lot, but couldn't stay that long to cool her off because my Mother had to go to dinner with her brother. Parents: Don't know how long it takes to take care of a horse properly. I hope I can ride to tomorrow, I have a volley ball tournament tomorrow. Sadly I have too many hobbies so I am giving up all of them to focus mainly on riding, so this is my last year of volley ball. I decided if I anted to go to the olympics it would be for Equestrain not volley ball, even though I am good at both. Sorry for me blabering on, once I get started it is hard for me to stop, and because I have no one else to tell, my friends are too prissy to tell, they'd be like "Ewww you clean up horse poo!" Okay well I think I have said enough for one post. Anyone else on right now so we can chart horse?

Cool! I ride English, but I'm starting to ride western and barrel race. Yesterday I had an English and Western lesson.

I have only rode a horse a few times, never been lucky enough to own one or have lessons. But my mum recently said that I might be able to have lessons.

In like two years, I will have enough money to get my own horse. And since it will be my own horse I have very specific details that I want it to have. It can't be a QH. There are way to many of those around here. Has to be at least 16 hands. Has to be a warmblood. A good eventer. Has to be young. Maybe even be a trouble maker so he/she can make me a better rider. And some more, but I can't think of at the moment. I am very picky!

Do you own a horse: I don't have my own, but I do look after and ride two - a 9 year old, 14.2hh, black connemara gelding and a 12 year old, 11.3hh, dapple grey welsh section B mare. They belong to the charity that I work for but they only use them on one day a week, so I have plenty of time. Up until about a year ago I also had the opportunity to regularly exercise an ex-national junior sidesaddle dressage champion but sadly she passed away.
Do you ride: Yes, I've been riding regularly for 10, almost 11 years now, worked at two different stables, had two loan horses in the past and competed, but only to local level. I ride mainly english style but I have had a few lessons in western style, (enough to learn tacking up and basic riding), plus I've tried carriage driving and sidesaddle once.
Favourite colour: Is this in general or favourite horse colour? My favourite colour is purple and my favourite horse colour is either dapple grey or dark bay.

The horse I am leasing doesn't like to canter turns, only sharp ones, because she used to be a barrel racer, and I finally got her to canter a wide turn today. I was so happy!
