You used them so sparingly that they worked pretty nicely in the form. c: A short line from a song here and there, or just one medium-length one never really hurts, when it fits the character itself. But with forms that rely the [usually new/unknown to me] song to tell the story, and quote entire stanzas with just a little bit of original content in between... yech. I can't handle that sort of stuff, it kills my brain. ^^;

Luckily for you, I do know a little Rascal Flatts because my mother likes listening to country. :P So... yeah.

Haha. Alright. Thanks -3B- I'm glad to know that. XD It's funny, that's how I got into country music as a kid, because my mom listened to it all the time it seemed.
Anyway, yeah. The part I used from the song was the only part that I really wanted to use because it sort of fit and it was the only part of the song I could remember when it was stuck in my head. And I have to say that I agree with you about when people use most of a song's lyrics in their forms. 0_0

I guess the reason why I even brought up the use of song lyrics in forms for characters. Partly because of the fact that it was my first time doing it and partly because I'd seen so many other people use them when applying for characters that I wondered if people were getting tired of them and didn't like them being used. In a way, I guess I sort of hate doing things that are unoriginal.
