I know from experience that getting a friend to stop is a challenge but it is in no way impossible. I've done it myself (stopped someone- not the actual harm) but i feel this is a topic that could be a bit too relative to some people here (on CS in general- not just the thread) so it probably shouldn't be publicly discussed as it is not quite positive and has no real relation to one direction. it is very sad though- i hope you can get her to stop.
