T H E | I N F E C T I ON | I N F O

[ I'm not sure how much you missed, but... here's a recap of what I know is happening.

The storm has got much stronger, so strong that it's unnatural. [I think everybody knows that part.] The storm is being caused by Mjolnir, who's infected. With what I'm not quite sure. [I'm almost positive it has something to do with dark matter and miasmae.] Mjolnir has become Nightmare Storm, and he's corrupting [aka infecting] all the other alicorns and unicorns he can. Five ponies [I think] have been infected already [besides Mjolnir]: Princess Celestia [into Nightmare Sun], Princess Solar Flare [into Nightmare -some noun here-, Spark, Rainbow/Shadow Strike, Snow [into Nightmare Nova]. I'm pretty sure Iris is on their side too.
Dark Fire, Faded Moon, Nyxx, Twilight Sparkle, and Flim are now at Dark Fire's castle. Twilight doesn't seem to be infected, but Flim's still in a trance or something.
Spectrum, Skidding Wheels, and Blossomforth are trapped at Blossomforth's house.
RD, Pinkie, Big Mac, Dawn, Fawn, Holly, Flying Balloons, and Sparkler are still at Fluttershy's. Nightmare Storm has just arrived, and was seeking out Twilight and Flim.
ThunderBolt was working with the lightning last I checked. Applejack was with another pony or two, racing I believe.
Spark [Now Rage-ified] is luring Flame towards her to infect him.

and finally [I think], Thunder left Dark Fire's to search for Serafina, and he was successful.

You probably knew a lot of that but you wanted a recap so I gave you one. x3 ]

WELL THEN.

If you couldn't tell by my recap there, there's a bit of a problem going on in Ponyville.
.....Okay, okay. A BIG problem. Remember all the hate, jealousy, and the miasmae that turned Princess Luna into Nightmare Moon?
WELL, IT'S BACK.

Only it's started with Mjolnir, god of thunder/storms/lighting/etc. He is searching out unicorns and alicorns to turn into Nightmares to rule Equestria with evil. Stupid tyranny.
Right now we're all kinda doomed.

WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?

Okay, everypony must be confused about the Nightmare/infection/miasmae/dark matter-a-boo.

Ponies of the Old (MORE FANNON FROM ME. WHOOPEE. They're ponies from the Middle Ages) called becoming overtaken by the spirits of evil was treated like a sickness. Alicorns and unicorns were more common back then, so the "Infection" broke out almost every 100 years. e.e I got the "miasmae" idea from a comic called "The True Story" on DA. It kinda reminded me of dark matter and stuff. Dark Fire is responsible for all of this (SHUUUUuuuuUUUUUuuuun!!!), because she actualy has been out to space to collect dark matter. She brought it back. And, while she was studying how to control how it effects gravitational pull, she knocked over the container holding it and it escaped. As it travelled through the air, going all WHOOSH and all that, it slowly earned more magic, and yeah. Then evil spirits from the... Spacial Planes (I DUNNO) saw that this stuff was vulnerable, and took control. Dark Fire realized what was happening, like the god mod she is, annd went after it, but got "infected". You know what happens then.

Mjolnir is the god of... er, storms/lightning/thunder/etc. That's why he was causing the disastrous part of the storm, hence his new name: Nightmare Storm.

The infecting stuff is getting the, well, the infection that Mjolnir has.
Think of it this way: Princess Luna turned into Nightmare Moon out of hate and jealously because of her sister. Well, there's a fannon theory [I think] about miasmae having to do with some of it.
Miasmae is a noxious atmosphere or influence, so whoever is infected is influenced by hate, jealousy, evil, etc.

NOW THEN.
I'm going to add a new section into the other that you should check out when you have time. I'll post the recap there as well. Plus, the ponies infected too. Maybe who will be infected as well, if Daring has any secret evil plans she should share with me. xD
