my friends cousins freinds dad works for mlp:fim and he knows the offcial realise date.

Honestly I wouldn't trust the "My x family member works for Hasbro" thing. I've seen far too many people who say that (in other fandoms too) and spread misinformation that is later confirmed false. I'm not calling your friend a liar, but I really wouldn't accept that as fact yet.
