You shouldn't care it went down - didn't move on the rares list. You should like them for their design and the fact they are very rare and exclusive - not that they are OMGSORARE, because they don't have the demand to trade up and they are all over the place now.

Hey all you rodent lovers.. I'm thinking of getting a hamster/mouse/gerbil, any idea what breed I should get? I'd get a rattie, but my parents are.. strongly against owning the poor things ;A;

Get a mouse, they are small, and easy to care for, if you dont want the smell of a mouse, you can get natal rats, people have said they bite, but i have had various natal rats (aka African Soft Fur-ASF) and none have bit, they are desert rats, they dont urinate much, and they dont smell, unless you never clean the cage.

Male mice have a musky smell.

You can also look into trying to find a "runt" rat, one of my female rats is a runt and is a dumbo, so shes the size of a natal rat, smaller then a teddy bear hamster, there are also "dwarf rats"

You can also get spiney mice, like natal rats, they do not have a smell to them. I had spiney, they are different then most rodents, as they only produce 1-6 young, average 2-3, they are born fully formed, either eyes open, or open within a few days and start eating a few days after they are born (just nibbling on food)

If i can find pictures of my natal rats and spiney mice ill upload them.

I even had long haired mice, one was a shiney long hair golden colour. I have two fox mice. They are camera shy o.O, 2 brindle mice, theyre on the chubby side xD, a brown and white mouse with pink eyes xD, even a wild mouse, i have pictures of her xD, somewhere.

You should bring your mom to anyone who has pet rats and let her interact with them at a young age.

Also mice can be taught to come when you call their name xD

Trading at all is difficult O_o, I gave up trying to achieve any dream pets because i could not trade up my list pets, i could not trade down my list pets, and i could not get pets that are on my wl even if they werent list pets.
