Hey, that's a good point! Maybe I can learn to shoot like Legolas in a year or two! o3o Man if I could shoot from horseback, or like, shoot while running and jumping and ding somersaults that would make a beast talent show act at school! Too bad you can't ride a horse on the stage. Or shoot arrows. xD I can dream though!

Yeah, I wish that was possible! And it would be so incredibly amazing! I'm really hoping to get a bow for my birthday, and if I do I'll practice till I get good enough!

I'd love to be able to do that! But it does look really hard... and I'd be worried about stabbing the horse too. Once I'm good enough at archery, I'll try to do it, though And I don't think it takes 10 years, though it might. Orlando Bloom (who plays Legolas in Lord of the Rings) had to learn how to shoot arrows from horseback for the movie, and I doubt he had more than a year to learn it. But he probably had professional teachers and stuff I don't know, really. Once I can ride without hands and be able to hit a target, I might try. But I haven't even got my bow yet D:

Hmm, yeah. I can canter without no hands if I'm on a horse I trust, but I struggle to nock the bow as it is. Derp, I've got a looong way to go..
[off-topic but to do with the post above: has anyone seen War Horse? The guy that plays Albert, the farm boy, had never ridden before when he was cast and had to learn to gallop bareback in a month O.O]

Yeah, I have seen that movie. I liked it, but it was kind of sad.Wow! That's pretty amazing! I'd never be able to learn that in such a short time! I only know how to walk, trot and canter, because I had to give up lessons last year, but I definitely can't without holding on, at least not yet. And I don't know my new horse well enough to do that, so I might start taking lessons again till I learn a bit more about horse riding before I try anything... complicated

Well, good luck to both of you on getting a bow on your birthday! My birthday's not until October. xP But, I've already got a bow, I don't really know what I'd want.... maybe just a bunch of money so I can buy supplies to make an archery range out in the back pasture. O.o And banners and stuff would be great too! For a stamp you usually find one for download on DA or similar and open it up in Gimp/etc. and stick in your image. Pretty simple. All the times I've been thinking about a banner or stamp, I think of a simple background, with an archer silhouette and "Join the Youth Archers of CS!" Or something. But I dunno. Whatever you think of.
