Gaiz. I forgot to ask- Have you seen the first dub episode?

And now the question for debate- Is the dub any good in your own opinions?

I just watched it now. In my opinion I'm not going to watch the rest of the dub, but it's not the worst around. I don't mind most of the voices except for Rin and Yukio's. Yukio's isn't all that bad but to me I feel like compared to the Japanese voices he at least needs to change some of his tone for some scenes. While I flat out just don't like Rin's dub, I mean I love his Japanese voice and it may just be what I'm used to but it just seems to fit him so well I guess. While the dub just seems too mellow I guess, to put it simply. So basically I'm likely not going to bother with the rest of the dub, I might see who voices the other characters but other than that I'll stick to my sub thanks. c:

Those are like my thoughts exactly! I don't like Rin's voice, even though I love the voice actor, I think he could've sounded a little... gruffer? Huh. I dunno. Like he sounded too boyish to me and in the japanese version he sounds like he's going through puberty with all those cute little voice cracks x3. Plus when I heard him I was like- Kida. Go back to Durarara!! NAOW. And Aido too from Vampire Knight.
And then for Yukio, at first it sounded like Izaya, Lelouch, all of those wonderful characters Johnny Bosch does. But then at least it was better than Yukio's.
Actually- I really don't like Mephisto's or Shiro's voice either.

As for the others- So far, I'm liking them. Like, Bon's voice actor I know will do a good job and Shiemi, Izumo, Paku, Shima, and Koneko all sound great. Even though they've only said like one line each. (Shiemi's is at the end of the episode in the previes for episode 4, as it isn't out yet.)

I'm dying to hear the voices of Shura and Amaimon~

So overall- I do prefer the sub but I think I'm going to watch the dub through, just because I get to watch the show again.

Eep! Double post, but it's important. I need to share it.

Ok so I was in the car with my friend, my dad, and her dad and we were listening to Candy Candy from my phone on the speakers and all of a sudden it shuffles to OST 1 Track 7 of Blue Exorcist which is the really intense/soulful opera music that plays during the opening scene in episode one on the Blue Night. xP Really awkward. Out of 1020 songs, that one decided to come on shuffle.... And then both dads went along with it, vcranked it up and rolled down the windows. xP
