The Labyrinth.
No one knows where it starts, or where it ends. But they know it’s there.
Since 2059, when coronel G. Sandoff obtained the power by detonating the Senate of the United States, the country has been in constant war. Food was inexistent, kids died at a very young age, most doctors were killed, churches were burn, houses were destroyed. Fire was everywhere. The only way to keep up with the war was the primitive sepia television and the radio, if it decided to work. When war finished, on 2072, most farming lands became property of the government, no one had food to feed their families. And a revolution kept on and on until families were allowed to hunt and cannibalism was approved again. But fifteen years ago, the Coronel found a way to keep population under control, forever. He decided to turn all the states into just 7. 4 for the people, 2 for the government and its departments. 1 for the Labyrinth. Every year, 8 kids, ages 15-18, came into the Labyrinth. All of them could survive, if they found the end of the Labyrinth. But the price had to be divided into the winners, and it was too low to feed 8 families. Inside the Labyrinth, kids kill each other for the price, but they also make allegiances. The Labyrinth is that, a labyrinth. High grass walls turning to the left or to the right. And inside the Labyrinth: factories, lakes, forests, parks, houses, bunkers…Some of them poisoned, some others not.
In the Labyrinth, you fight or you die.
