Bloop, just wondering who would be interested in this. It's a rough draft, I just want to know who would be interested before I go ahead and start actually working on it.

The legends of Dragons and Knights are all wrong.
There were originally only ever two dragons alive on the planet. Mulciber, the male born of fire, and Kōri, the female born of Ice.Those dragons were able to control those elements, and they crafted the world. They were it's guardians, but they did fight constantly; they were the complete opposite of each other, how could they not? They had children, seven of them, four males and three females. But the humans were afraid of the creatures that were protecting them from evils they didn't even see. They threatened to attack, until one day, a knight actually did. He killed the youngest female. Enraged, Mulciber and Kōri tore apart the land, attacking every human they saw. Mulciber scorched the land with his Dragons' fire; it ruined the environment, made it hotter than the rest, made it so almost no plants would ever grow there again. Kōri froze the land; turning everything in to ice and snow, freezing the ground until nothing could be planted.
They were injured in the fight however, some knights were skilled with their swords. Mulciber died of his wounds before he could return to their mountain nest. In an act of desperation, Kōri used the last of her power to transform the remaining six of her children. From Mulciber's horns, she crafted three scarlet orbs, and from her own, she crafted three white ones. And with her final breaths, she incanted her children to become human. Inside the jewels went the dragon forms of her children, hidden away from the world.
The children were able to live as humans without fear of being hunted. And they did. They lived, they made mistakes, they fought, they fell in love, they married. Each child was only ever able to produce one off spring, to which the greater part of the powers in the crystals would transfer, only completely accessible by the children. Each generation was taught who they were, taught how to access the power in the crystals, taught of their duties. But, as the years grew on, the crystals that held their powers were lost; and so was their true identity, their true power. They knew not what they really were. And so the world fell into chaos. Wars started, millions killed. And the wars continue without the children knowing anything of themselves. Until now, when their powers awakened as a larger threat starts to rise.
The Children of the Dragons are awakening.
