So guys. Sorry for the loads of inactivity I've dumped on you!
I'm here now, so it's okay! XD

So today in French class, an idea struck me like a ton of bricks [as ideas do in French class] XD
Well, as I thought about the origin of the french word(s) for "Goldfish" (poisson rouge) and how it probably came from "Poseidon..."
This idea came to me:

Anyone into Greek Mythology?

Well, the whole idea of the RP would be that you are a bender [the elements: earth, fire, water, and air] and you would be a student of the gods that rule over that element. But, they wouldn't be teaching you directly. Afterall, they are gods.

If anyone wants to take this idea off my hands, please PM me and we can work out a few more details.

*Casually slips back in as if I've never been away* gosh you guys post lots.

*joining in with current conversation* I started roleplaying about seven-eight years ago, when I was really young. I have always written stories and things since as far back as I can remember. I then got onto a game called Wonderland, a bit like WoW, and roleplayed through chat there... For about four years. I was aware of roleplaying sites and wanted to join but felt a bit intimidated by them at first. I can't remember the name of the site I first joined when I started roleplay but it was really illiterate and I gave it up for a few years until I was searching up something on google for a project, I ended up here and made an account. Then in about half a year I went from illiterate to literate. (Well I wasn't that bad in the first place, just too lazy to write out a good reply).

Anyway, on the subject of roleplays, I'd really like a vampire roleplay. I haven't done one in a long while... Anyone want to co-own/have any ideas?

Anyways... I'm supper jelous of you guys who say your parents encourage it, or even just know about it and don't mind. :c
I have to hide everything from my parents... Writing and art is all in a binder hidden away, and they'd ground me if they ever found out I actually talked to people and role-played >.< everything I've been able to get better at had been my own doing, since I don't currently have any friends that I trust well enough to ask to read and crit anything, and the one I used to be able to talk with was so much of abetter writer than me that I was afraid to show her anything ><

AngelJ: If there was a twist to it, sure! Like the Neil Gaiman idea that Vampires are actually aliens, biologically engineered to colonize other planets. Or a religious cult is taking over the Vampire society, which hold that death by sunlight will save your soul. Or a society of vampires is actually dominate in this world, and the few people left are like royalty, as they can have kids while vampires can't. Something crazy like that?

Now I really want to write a short story in an (almost) all vampire world with a hard-bitten vampire detective investigating a blood smuggling ring. xD

Going off the whole 'how did you first start role-playing' topic, I just found my first ever post >u> Ah the nostalgia. I'm not so proud to admit it's a whole 5 lines long, but at least it's actually kinda okay grammar/spelling/sentence structure wise. ^^;
My character wasn't really a mary-sue I think ono; though her personality info was waaay too long. Especially considering I didn't even stick to it -u-

I know exactly how you feel .n. My parents 'fear for my safety' because they think I'm naive enough to go around telling all my personal information to random strangers over the internet. I don't think they'd really be supportive of me role-playing in general either. :c
Out of my family, I seem to be the only one who likes any type of the 'arts'; reading, writing, drawing, etc.

Yeah... That one never got started because there was only one person who was interested. I am tempted to recycle parts of the idea... But not all of it.
