If anyone is interested, I have a semi-literate wolf role-play. o3o I posted it in my form, and it's started but not everyone has posted yet. So, it's just barely begun.

Also, I would be interested in a werewolf / wolf role-play as well. c: I just love them.

BUT; without further ado - I'm trying to write a CS pet-based story. I've done one before but it failed after a few days cause I didn't have time. Anyways, the link is within THIS link - ze link! I'd love it if you guys could come and help me with the start. X_X

I'd love to help, but I think you'll have better luck in the Inklings writing thread. c:

I'll take a look at it though :33

Huzzah! Thank you, kikimanu! :3 I shall look at them now![/size]

why does this thread move so fast? S:
anyhow, welcome neon from a less-hyper mercy. :)

I started roleplaying on a site called Howrse, just browsing the private forums of some people - and I was all 'hey, awesome! let me join!'... thats really where it started, about two years ago, but it was all really, really illiterate, two liners were really really scarce and there were only a few people who roleplayed semi-literatly in private rps...
So yeah. I joined here a little over a year ago, and started getting the idea that it was possible having 'semi-lit' roleplays ^^ I started ropleplaying on here I think in November 2011, and semi-literatly [more than a paragraph] in february this year, I think.

So, yeah xD
why do you make such awesome rps I cannot join D:

Welcome all new members? Wait how many people were accepted again? I can never keep track of this thread because????? Limited time lmao.

    Anyway. I am in need of an RP where I can play my pastel goth dullahan character. I'm apping him in a DA RP group, but I don't think he'll see much action there. umu;;

Ooh, are we telling stories of how we started RPing?

Well, my humble beginnings were actually on this other site called... uh, I think it was Bunny Kingdom or something, and my first action upon joining was actually necroing all of the old RP threads. I'm serious, I used my avatar as a character and posted one-liners in every dead RP I could find. After a while I was taught what not to do, and my RP journey continued! That was six years ago. Later on I moved to another site, Fuzzacademy [which is dead now, sadly], and it was there where my writing sort of flourished. Aaaand then I joined CS.

    Good times.

Oh, oh, oh!

I started RPing on World of Warcraft. Real-time RPs! Woo! Anyways, I never really enjoyed those people that said, "Mr. Man sits and stares at the clouds." and then when you said HI, they just, "Mr. Man looks at you, "Hello."" It was aggravating. I always made it, "Mr. Man sat down and looked at the sky, intent on finding a shape within the white masses." or SOMETHING. I started RPing about 5-6 years ago and I got a lot of, "Wow, you write like you're 19-20." and I was about 13-14 then.. Haha, so that encouraged me to continue writing.

I came to CS for the pets and was TERRIFIED of the boards. But I went to a Legacy of the Night board, which I've lost and started form RPing, then gradually got the courage to use CS boards. :3

Anywayyyys. Are there any canine/GOOD warrior Rps out and about? I feel weird asking about warriors, but it's been AGES since I've join a warrior RP that actually lived to see first posts and flourished while still being semi-lit+...

@mercy. I started on Howrse as well! :D I had my own group of friends/roleplayers and we all just roleplayed across each other's different forums, etc. I don't play on Howrse anymore, but when I randomly found Chicken Smoothie, I only started with collecting pets. I was too lazy to actually go and see what the forum even was, but when I did, I was hooked. :3

These stories are so interesting o3o I actually brought up a topic xD

Anyways. A little bit more on my history:

I started rping on foo. Not very literate (I highly doubt anyone started writing and busting out paragraphs their first time :/) of course. I had a lot of successful rps though.

There was just this one rp though...I had made it with a friend and then we had invited our other friend, Maddie, and my other friend had invited Em.

A year or earlier went by, and my parents forced me to quit FooPets and role-playing for the rest of the school year all because I got a C in a progress report(I died -.-). And then, when I came back, they were all so happy, I saw that the rp had continued for quite some time, before they decided to wait for me ^^ I still talk to two of them. No idea about where my third one is D;

But okay, on Foo, I was content at the level I was at. But then I had another friend, Zombie Skittles (on here. she's part of the club. I call her Magical Rain x3), who I hardly got to rp with and I missed her. Like. A lot. But I could neve join the rps she did, because she joined things that required a paragrapor was it 3 linea?) and I didn't think I could do that. One day, she made a rp and she leg me join so I could start practicing x3

So, I suppose I need to go thank her ono"

---------

NEXT PART.

When I came here to CS, however, I retreated back to one-liner rps. Didn't mind. Until summer was over, that rp died though. I mean, I'd also joined a few other rps, but they weren't as advanced as I am now. I was scared to try to even join a semi-lit rp, and I just motivated myself to work at it.

And here I am. ono"

hey there! i'm abandoned. you might see me more commonly
referred to as 'pie' though. i adore rping, writing and reading.
however, i do not actively rp here anymore. i am on AS, under
the username forlorn. if you want to rp, shoot me a pm!
or even just to chat, i love meeting new people.

okay, we'll, I started on howrse, like mercy, and I can't quite remember how. It was only one x ones though, except one ore group role-play. As I look back, they were horrid xD no plots.
But, I started out with 3 sentences [or lines] and could give a paragraph when I felt like it.
I moved to CS after rediscovering it after a very long break [ I was here waaaay back when ] and slowly began to find out people did role-plays on here xP
I joined a wolf role-play that was considering itself semi-lit [ eight lines ] because I knew if I pushed myself I could do it. And there was a higher literate person that gave three or four paragraphs per post, that often role-played with my character, so I would try very hard to give good replies. When that one was sort of... Abandoned, I moved to the one x one search thread. I wanted to find a few partners that were really good to put up with a less literate partner, and eventually I did [ how I wish there had been a role-playing school back then ] an slowly got better. [ well, maybe not so slowly. I advanced in my writing quite quickly ]

I never did anything that didn't have proper spelling and grammar, and looking back, none of my characters really were Mary/Gary sues. .-.

Here's another question:
Do the people you know/your parents/etc. know and encourage your writing/role-playing? Or do you keep it secret?
Personally, I keep mine secret. My friends know I write, but are not allowed to read it [ or even touch the notebook ] and I have to keep CS very hidden and my role-playing to. I'd be severely grounded if they knew I talked to people on the Internet... And my mom has already voiced her opinion that she doesn't think me writing is all that great.

Hm... I want to find the post that I applied with, I want to see which sample I put in it... I can't find it though!
