Mainly beacsue I find my´´posts decreasing i´n´size and quality when doing dialogue.
I like having some physical add-ons to dialogue. Or I should say some dialogue in descriptions and actions.
I think that a post shouldn't be considered "dialogue" for the main reason that a post with just dialogue and (very) little actions isn't something that you'll find in most semi literate and up role plays. Don't think; "okay how am I going to fit actions into this.." Think more like, "okay I'll respond to that question after such and such." When making your character do an action don't just end it at 'he stood up.' Make it more like; 'frowning at the response he chuffed slightly, angrily getting to his feet, brushing some of the dirt that remained from the fall off his trousers.' Of course you could go into more detail and then write your dialogue. Never put dialogue first because then you'll run out of actions for your character to do. Also try and space your dialogue out, make sure it's not all lumped together, that also unbalances the text and your train of thought. Do what Artesian said as well, have your character think about what they're going to say and after speaking if they're scared, angry, upset, etc...
There's tons of small tricks to use.
