One where, for any given situation, I don't have to think about how they act. They just write themselves, and I can explain both what they would do and why they'd do it without any effort at all.
INSANELY BUSY!
I am moving! For the next month or so, I am going to be so very busy.
If I'm on here, it's because I'm unwinding with writing or pets or whatever.
Please do not add to my stress, if you can. Your support is appreciated.

makes sense. it's because i'm attempting to help someone make their characters believable and i don't wanna give them a false idea o-o

My characters kinda developed themselves o.o like, I never sat down and said, okay, you need a personality and a history. I made a one x one and a character to fit it, and he's become a permanent character. I got thinking when I replied about- what if I had experienced his past? [ in this case, a lot of pain and resentment, and had never had any idea of an outside world, including any colors. ] It was hard at first, trying to imagine what that sort of person would be like, but once I did, it was easy. Personality and history came easy after that. *shrug* probably not much help...
But writing for my charries is always easy. I never have to think much about it...

exactly. i always either write their personality first or their history. they always follow one another, for me. so, if my character is reserved and quite anti-social[i recently made her], i decided that she'd have a pretty normal life, her parents are almost always busy, and she was bullied and picked on a lot as a little kid, and always expects that to happen. my characters just...develop themselves.

I didn't even start with a personality or idea of history. I placed him in a lab and gave him a description. Getting into the mindset of him was hard at first, because it's so different than what I'd done before, but now it's pretty easy. His personality just came as I thought about it, and kept playing him...

Agshsh, I'd love to see someone play such a character. uwu

Rose: They kind of scare me too. I mean, I wouldt let one crawl around my room, that's for sure. But after I forced myself to stare at zoomed-in, very high definition pictures of them [research], I realized that they're pretty cute... in an ugly way. Kind of like my bulldog, haha. Peacock spiders are especially funny little fellas. They dance!

As for character development... if you want to develop a character's personality, I think that having their history planned out beforehand really helps. The character's personality could be added layer by layer based on the happenings in their past. Were they bullied in school? If so, did they develop a sort of tough-guy attitude, an eye for and eye sort of thing, or did they become shy and withdrawn?

Just curious, has anyone here ever RPed conjoined twins? It would be an interesting challenge, since essentially they're two different characters and yet they have to share pretty much the same body.

Me! I have two characters that are conjoined twins. I've only ever had the chance to RP them once, though, so they're not very developed. umu

yeah, that's what happened to my girl Kristin. I decided that I wanted her to be reserved/withdrawn and quiet. ^^

it's the school thing that me and a few other members on this thread are helping with, so since that person had been waiting for a while, i took them in o-o

So ugly they're cute applies cannot apply to spiders. All them eyes... Just freaky. xP bulldogs are cute though, French bulldogs especially xD
Dancing spiders? o.o I don't even... What? That's intriguing.
