Info: (whole plot)
The series follows the adventures of three dragon siblings. All having hatched from a clutch of five eggs carefully protected by the female dragon Irelia and her mate, bronze AuRel, the young dragons quickly establish themselves into distinct roles. Upon hatching, the males of the clutch are instinctively driven to fight each other to the death, which leads to the death of a Red hatchling, while the Copper suffers a crippled leg and must live as an outcast, leaving grey Auron to dwell with his two sisters under the protection of their parents. All four hatchlings survive their first seasons in the cavern, until an attack on their home cave results in the deaths of their mother and the female hatchling Jizara. Auron and Wistala escape into the Upper World, while the crippled Copper eventually makes his way deeper below ground. In the fantasy setting of the novels, dragon population has been dwindling as relations among the many races worsen. Humans especially are becoming the dominant species, but there are still powerful factions of dwarves, elves and other sentient species.

Inheritence
Info: (part of Eragon's plot)
While hunting, Eragon, a 15-year-old farm boy, finds a blue, polished stone in a dangerous mountain range known as "The Spine." He takes the "stone" to his village, Carvahall, but fails to trade it for food to the village butcher, Sloan, who refuses it once he hears that it came from the Spine. Eragon then chooses to bring the stone back to his family's farm (where he lives with his uncle Garrow and cousin Roran) and leaves it aside as a valuable trinket he may help finance his family with. Traders come through Carvahall as they do every year, though Eragon notices that they appear much more ragged and weary than last year. Eragon and Garrow take the stone to a trader specializing in jewels. The trader explains that Urgals have been migrating and have been causing trouble for people on the road. The jeweler also tells them that the stone is unlike any he has ever seen: it is hollow, harder than diamond, and essentially unique

However, there is something mysterious about Liz, the house and the dragons. As for what it is, David can't figure out. Meanwhile, David is trying to help Lucy (Elizabeth's daughter) find a missing squirrel named Conker. Conker, unlike the other squirrels, does not leave after the tree he lived in was cut down, his eye is badly injured and the doctors try to rescue him but unfortunately he dies. While he tries to unravel the dragon mysteries and save the squirrel, David writes a story for Lucy about Snigger (another squirrel), Conker and Lucy's other squirrel friends. However, the story begins to mirror real life. Whatever is going on, it has something to do with his special writing dragon Gadzooks, whom Liz made as a housewarming gift. But when Conker's life is threatened and Gadzooks appears to be in trouble, David is forced to believe the impossible if he is going to save them. Meanwhile, he finds himself drawn to an attractive wildlife rescuer.
Dragon Slippers

Info: She wanted dragon gold. She got a pair of shoes.
Many stories tell of damsels in distress, who are rescued from the clutches of fire-breathing dragons by knights in shining armor, and swept off to live happily ever after.
This is not one of those stories.
True, when Creel’s aunt suggests sacrificing her to the local dragon, it is with the hope that the knight will marry Creel and that everyone (aunt and family included) will benefit handsomely. Yet it’s Creel who talks her way out of the dragon’s clutches. And it’s Creel who walks for days on end to seek her fortune in the king’s city with only a bit of embroidery thread and a strange pair of slippers in her possession.
But even Creel could not have guessed the outcome of this tale. For in a country on the verge of war, Creel unknowingly possesses not just any pair of shoes, but a tool that could be used to save her kingdom…or destroy it.

It is a story that drags you in and makes you think and wonder. You feel everything and you are able to see what everything looks like. If you lost your imagination this book brings it back it makes everything wondrous and exciting. It changed my attitude towards school it makes you want to do fun things. I started to wonder if any of the old houses in Salt Lake City have buried basements or secretes hidden in them. The main character in this story is Beck Philips and throughout the story he is faced with so many challenges that he has to face. His mother dies in the beginning of the story and he is sent to live with his uncle. He has to find a way to handle that all in one day his entire life setting is changed. He has to find a way to get accustomed to his new surroundings in Kingsplot and fit in, in a whole new school with people he doesn't know but they know him and everyone in the school refuses to get to know him because he is a Philips and that isn't good in the town. Everyone knows of his uncle how crazy he is and what their family has done over the years in the town. He grows up a lot he used to pull pranks and get into trouble but at the end everyone respects him and his family he made everyone change their minds about his whole family. The author shows how he was in the beginning of the story and by the end you can see how much the author has changed the way he is in the way he talks and acts with the people around him and to his teachers. I would recommend this book to anyone it is a book for anyone. It doesn't matter what genera's you like this book will interest you. I really enjoyed it, although I am a big fan of the author and his writing I told my grandfather who only ever reads westerns to read it he finished it in one day he said it was unusual but really good once you got into it. It will take your imagination of the world to a whole new level of excitement.
