Yeah defiantly, you just made me want to check out all these caves and see what I can find xS bur maybe not physically like you said but at least we can contact them in our dreams, it's been a while since I've have a dragon dream. I hope I have another soon!

I think there are some caves were you can physically see dragons but only if they want you to and if you believe in them. Its the same for most "mythical" creatures. You're less likely to see it if you don't believe it exists.

I believe! Would seeing what you would call a tail or wing or some other strange thing coming in the corner of your eye a dragon sighting? I see things swish from the corner of my eye all the time, sometimes shadows, they might be a trick of light from my glasses but it could be a dragon watching us.

Definitely! But probably only if it's outside and in a not to overcrowded area, I can't imagine dragons being in either of those places.

Yeah. I think that they actually guard or watch over us. At least, some of them.

Again bringing some of my earlier topics into play here. I have always thought of dragons as the guardians of the world. Which world, I didn't say. Also the intersections between our "dimensions" and their "dimensions" occur quite often. I have labeled the ones pertaining to humans as "touched by dragons." The relationship between our two races has been a mystery since the ancestors first met the oppostie kin along time ago. As for finding fixed locations, that would be very difficult. It has to be the right time, right condisions, and both sides must be seeking the other for the connection to occur, effectively. Sometimes I've pondered if they now prefer living in the uninhabitable places to humankind or sometimes the mantle.

As to the origins, no history goes far enough nor is accurate enough to say when dragons first entered into the human timeline. The best recordings are in the Roman and medieval times. Though, being the world's guardians, they must have been here long enough to see most of us into existance.

Yeah but there are more theories out there... I'm gonna see if I could find a few.
My own theory, for starters, is that these caves were the ancient hatching grounds of dragons, and some o the souls of them still stay in that cave, where they sometimes show themselves as ghost/ solid form/ images in the water and crystals and so on. If only someone knew where they were, if they exist that is.

Good theory as well. My theory is slightly stupid, I think, but I believe that when a dragon dies in another dimension or the old dead dragons' souls here attach themselves to a person at birth or throughout their lives and help the person out, changing the person's personality towards theirs very slowly. They are knowledgeable, and some 'evil' dragons (because there's always bad apples in the bunch) attach themselves and make a person who they become (like Hitler, or some other good examples I can't think of right now) In some rare cases, the dragons might even become that person, and might come into the 'bloodline' in a way and go into the offspring. Thus the feelings some of us have, like being a dragon in a human's body or something. I don't really believe in reincarnation, so this is my explanation for those who also don't believe in that..

Cool. Yeah, I don't believe in reincarnation either but that might actually explain dragon kin (like on the of otherkin thread. Though they have another theory! So many different therories... Oh yeah, how do you feel about dragon games ie: dragon story the app, dragon cave the website.
