I wish people would quit complaining about the promotions. If you don't want to participate then don't. It's a choice. And it's the only way I have of getting any BMIs; it doesn't only benefit pass-buyers, you know.

Yeah, well we are complaining about them for a number of reasons:

a) They are too regular. One after the other. Yes, it is nice to get a lovely amount of BMIs, especially not being a pass buyer myself, but sometimes we all want a break from these promotions. Just play howrse the way it is for a change, and focus on training horses, breeding the best bloodlines, increasing EC prestige... not just play for BMIs and divines.

b) These promos make it easier to get rare and expensive BMIs. This lowers the value of these BMIs. In the curent promo, the unicorn horn ingredient has made the value of unicorns drop. Harmony packs used to be worth a lot. Now they are just another BMI worth hardly anything.

c) Promos shift the focus of the game away from the training and breeding aspect, and moves it to Divine, Special and Wild horses. Everyone is focussed on getting the latest 'divine'. In the long run, Divines become useless and eventually are a status symbol, a goal to aim towards. Once they have all their skills, apart from earning things from them, they become pretty little horses to sit in breeding farms doing nothing. Unless you constantly enter them in competitions, they become boring. With normal horses, you can actually breed them and have their skills passed onto the next bloodline.

Yes, but if you want to focus on breeding or training horses, if you want to have a break, or if you want to ignore the latest divine fad, then you can just ignore the promotion. If you didn't actually want the divine, then it wouldn't bother you - you would just ignore it and move on. Nobody is forcing you to participate. And yes it lowers the value of BMIs, but I don't see how this is such a tragedy for us non-pass buyers, because now we have more oppertunity to compete in the game instead of just being stuck at the bottom because we can't spend real money.

The only thing I do agree is that the unicorns should have been left alone. Since everyone won one from the pinatas their value has dropped horrifically.

This whole 'we hate promotions' thing is bugging me so much. If you don't like it, ignore it. It's not difficult. I've done it before.

The new summer event thing is a waste of time. I was about to remove the sand from one of my horses when it said it will lose it's timer. I guess it's the same for unicorns and stuff. I'm begging to think that this is gonna turn into FooPets -.-

I just get around the sand by removing it from horses which are already fully bolded. Tons easier that way. And then you get stuff from it without losing anything.

I think that Straw Hats are one of the harder ingredients to get. I may try a few HoPs to get the ones I need for the Hestia's Gift.
