Okay guys. I have a serious thing I want to talk about. What are your opinions on Chuck, and do you think he could be God?

Reasons I think Chuck is God:
- He is a prophet, and so is Kevin. But there can only be one prophet at a time.
- He has never had an issue with demons, ghosts, or monsters. Other then that one time at SupernaturalCon but the ghosts weren't really singling him out.
- When the Angels needed a prophet for the tablets, they went after Kevin - but not Chuck. If Chuck is a prophet, wouldn't he be able to read the tablets as well? Why wouldn't they go after Chuck?
- Crowley has never gone after him either.

I read that "Chuck is assumed deceased"...
And most reasons why he isn't tampered with was the protection from an Archangel...
but after the Apocolypse... they basically were all trapped or killed... so... no protection for Chuck? maybe?

In any event... I think Chuck would be cool as God but I have to disagree...Either God is "absent" or on a long vacation... but i hope maybe in Season 9 "God" comes into play... maybe they can cast Morgan Freeman or something <3 :3

I think Chuck IS god. Simply because if you remember towards the end of '8 Crowley went after Jenny who was in Season 7 AFTER he 'vanished'. His sources were the books to handpick who he would kill of first. And the books were also published online, unless that ending he wrote in Season 5 was the true ending and he managed to write the whole series while they were off stopping Luci. Becky might have published them/another crazed fan (but who could beat her at it? Except for us, really.) The crew, also Kripke even said "How was it like to play God?" to Rob.

That's just my opinion.

I know that there can only be one active prophet at a time. But since Chuck was the first prophet - so he says -, and Kevin became a prophet afterwords after they found the first tablet. If Chuck was really a prophet, wouldn't Sam and Dean have gone to Chuck to have the tablet read?
From what I saw of the t.v. show, he isn't dead. He was never claimed dead, nor (if I remember correctly) did people think he was dead.
Which Archangel granted him protection? o: It's been a while, so I can't remember if Chuck had protection from an angel

He was definitely protected by an Archangel, though WHO isn't specified. Dean brought Chuck into the same room as Lilith and Sam, as tipped to do so by Castiel, to intervene on their "rendezvous'", in which Dean thought Sam would go "dark side" but in fact he was making a deal. But point in case is that Chuck DID have an Archangel protector, and unless there are more than- Raphael, Michael, Gabriel--> dead, in the pit, dead. Chuck could have been left unprotected, and then have killed. Though, I think rather his disappearance is a plot hole that the writers created when introducing Kevin and not addressing Chuck...Maybe Season 9 their might be some clarification... but as of now I kind of like how God is mysterious, and left out of the picture. ((i also see God as more of a overseer and guardian or even similar to an aura than a person in the case of Supernatural))... it makes it seem that Sam and Dean are "on their own" but have some assistance from The Man Upstairs from time to time. But him being absent parallels with Sam and Deans father.. which was the whole thing that Gabriel pointed out "As it is in Heaven, so shall it be on Earth.." But thats just my rant XD sorry.

Now it's been a while since I've seen this - about a couple months or so and I've forgotten some details u.u - but I don't remember them asking for Chuck to be protected by an Archangel, nor an Archangel offering Chuck protection. I may be wrong there - and I probably am - but did Chuck or any other character say with absolute certainty that Chuck was being protected?
Now when you say "go to the dark side" is this taking place when Lucifer was trying to get Sam as his vessel?

Hopefully there will be clarification in Season 9. And to be honest, I kind of want Chuck to be God. xD

I've only decided to start watching Supernatural a few days ago, and I've been watching it on Netflix whenever I have time. ^^ I've heard about it constantly everywhere and my sister watches it, and a few friends do as well. It's already my favorite show, and I've heard a lot of spoilers from around. xD Please don't mind my newbieness to the Supernatural fandom, but I'm trying to really catch up on Netflix, even though it may take awhile since I'm literally only on season 1, hahah!

Hehe, Season 1 people... You need to catch up! Netflix sadly has only 1-7 and is missin' 8 right now. So I had to improvise and use another site/watch re-runs on TV.
