Oh my gosh, I was so upset that I couldn't watch the finale live, but I've just finished it and I can honestly say that I got a little teary eyed at the end :') My favourite song was This Day Aria, I love 'evil' Cadence's voice when she sings, so awesome! /)^3^(\

I agree with all of this, I unfortunately couldn't watch the finale live, but I'll re-watch it on television eventually.
And that song was kick-butt, Chrysalis's sections of the song are perfect.

Oh, and I loved Cadence, I thought she was sweet. Though I didn't see the reason for her being an alicorn, is it mandatory for all princesses to be one?

OMGGGG! I just watched the new episode and it was amazing!
I was totally not exspecting the thing that happened with Cadance, I thought she just turned evil for some reason but instead..... wow! I think she's my new favorite character now.
The songs were great, OMG IT WAS JUST SO AWESOME!!!!
But I wonder what episode is coming next...... what if Shining Armor and Cadance had fillies? XD. But I guess that would be a little awkward and there alreay is a episode about baby ponies Poundcake and, Carrotcake is the name of the girl? I doubt the Hasbro people would make a episode about Shining and Cadance right after the two parter because whenever they have a major two part episode there isn't a episode made about that character right after it.... oh well.
And one last thing..... I'm happy that this long two part episode isn't one where they use the elements of harmony at the end, because as soon as Celestia said "Blah blah blah save the day with elements of harmony", I got annoyed because they always use those things. But instead Shining and Cadance used the power of love..... yay!

I might make a fanfiction about a Equestria apocalypse and because of the two lands splitting, ponies must choose between Celestia and Luna. But some ponies were away on that day. They were in the Everfree Forest, later to be found by a group of Changelings. The Changelings take the ponies to Queen Chrysalis and she makes them her citizens and her personal staff . They find out that the land of Changelings is a bit more prospered with peace then what they all thought.
