I’ve never caught a shiny unfortunately. I tried in Let’s Go. I own both copies because I love Pikachu and Eevee. Tried again with Sword and Shield. No luck. Maybe I should replay them again and try harder. I’d love a team of Shiny Eevee’s. Shiny Sylveon looks adorable!

Nice! My first was the red Gyrados in Silver/Crystal, but besides that, the first random shiny I found was a Weedle in Viridian Forest in FireRed.

My first random shiny I got without "help" was a shiny Persian in Fire Red. Which isn't a great first because they look barely different from the original but middle school me was pleased.

Speaking of Shinys I got my first recently. I got a shiny Audino in ultra Sunn. It's a really pretty shiny in my opinion. I named her Ube. If you've seen the shiny you know why lol

Aw nice! The first shiny I ever encountered was an Electrike, but it was in a version of Platinum that had a modified shiny rate so I don't really count it? Otherwise, first proper shiny was a female Nidoran in Let's Go.

my first legitimate shiny (that wasn't me messing with action replay in 4th gen lol) was a shiny eevee in pokemon x! his name is equius and he currently resides in sword as a sylveon <3. (although i'll admit i made a clone of him to keep in ultra sun with my powersaves)
