I'm kinda hurting for berries, balls, and money to restock balls.

What is the best way to restock Pinap and Razz Berries? I need Pinap berries to farm for Eevee candy. A lot of it.

So I finished the main story. I can say I liked it though I still think it isn't worth 60$. Everything feels more polished but the story is incredibly short even for Pokémon. I beat it with only one day of full gaming and having only a few hours to play the rest of the days.

I don't like that it makes farming for pokeballs hard at certain points in the game. I couldn't really help my niece catch stuff because it used up our pokeballs too quickly. I feel like adding something like vs seeker would have helped. Doesn't help that this has even less end game content then gen 6-7.

I will say this game does excite me for how good future games will be. I love how you can see Pokémon in the overworld and such. It makes the world feel more alive. I wouldn't be aposed to let's go becoming a series like mystery dungeon/rangers as long as it has more content. It was a lot of fun overall and I'm secretly hoping they make at least johto DLC. It would be a nice change to go from kanto to johto instead of the other way around. They will probably make it its own game though.

So I found out an interesting 'tid bit that's really useful for shiny hunting and I guess catching hard Pokémon in general.

Small but useful spoiler:

Master balls respawn in cerulean cave as hidden items in sparkly light (your pikachu/Eevee wags their tail if hidden item is nearby).

Note: it's really rare chance but possible. I just got one after farming berries. <3 /spoiler end

Spent the day searching for a shiny Eevee. Along the way I passed up a shiny raticate and doduo... but when a shiny ponyta popped up I couldn't resist breaking my chain for it. I'm so happy, I'm going to use it for running around shiny hunting. <3

Oh and in case you guys didn't know you can chain whatever, shiny chances increase for everything. The only plus for chaining the Pokémon you actually want shiny is for better stats. If you don't care about stats just chain caterpie or weedle.

woah, thats WILD. do the odds shoot up if you catch something on, say route 1, and then move to a new route to hunt? (like will the odds still be wild if you change routes?)

^ The odds increase for every Pokémon no matter what you chain. The only way to break a chain is to catch a different species than your chain, have a wild Pokémon run from you, or close your game. So yeah you can chain on route 1 and go somewhere else to shiny search.
