i concur. x.x my family has a mac, so i can't even dink around on paint and try to pixelize things and it's kind of sad in way.
mostly because it means i'll have to pay someone to draw my fantroll and it's like errrrgghhh no money why.

i envy you gifted spriters/artists.

i found paint for mac, but its like windows XP version. still paint tho
theres also pixen, which is a pixel and animation software i use very often as well. pixen is in the app store, and i need to find the paint for mac thing if you like.

i've been into homestuck for about three months now, and i'm in act 5 and i'm trying to drag out catching up so that the hiatus will seem shorter. damn it hussie.

It is totally a metal beak type thing, eheh. x'3
Ayalah does all she can to mimic the fierceness of her lusus and so wears the half-mask in an attempt to be menacing. Also, she's quite adept at throwing her voice and so does a lot of ventriloquism and the likes... can't see her mouth, can't see it move.

I have a Mac, and I use Sketchbook Pro, and use the sharpen tool to pixelize things. It's kind of a pain in the butt though.
The free version is called Sketchbook Express.
And since I'm heeeere.... Help me with Kinx's typing quirk guys! :3
Kinx likes to build mechanical devices, and has been trying in vain to build a four-wheel device that moves all by itself xD. I haven't decided her lusis yet... But I think it could be a wolfmom? Need help with that too. She's super nice but gets annoyed easily with people who thaink they are better than her, or people off the bat want to be her friend. You have to earn her trust and respect.
Hmmm what else.....
Her hive may or may not be underground. Still deciding.
Sometimes she travels to her friends' hives to see them in person, she loves her friends very much.
I think that's all I have... What do you guys think?

as far as quirks go... just go to town with it i guess. YOU cOUld cApItIlIzE All thE vOwEls or maybe exagerate OOOs like a certain number (maybe four) and everytime yOOOOu use OOOOOs use that amOOOOunt?

I have some ideas for a handful of Fantrolls but I need a bit of advice. I want to know if they seem too cliche or what not.

A troll who is obsessed with music / musicals and randomly outbreaks in song occasionally.
A troll who kills trolls and wears the skulls of his victim over his own face. Okay, creepy and unrealistic, but sill kinda BA, right? ;3
A troll that wishes so desperately that he was an animal he wears so many animal pelts he's hardly visible.
And a male fuchsia blood in line for the throne but he's kind of clueless and really immature and stuff.

They all need a crapload of work and tons more details, but yeah. Do they sound okay?
