It's just some nice practice, but I am happy with it overall c:

I hope you don't mind if I give you some small pointers, but the canine's hind legs appears to be shorter than it's forelegs. And also the pose looks a bit unnatural, because if the canine meant to be drawn in a running stance it's hind legs should spread out a little, not sticking together. ^^; It looks like it's a combination of running and leaping so it looks a bit strange.
Overall, the image is refreshing and adorable. It's nice to see people drawing canines (as well as other animals) in different poses other than standing, sitting, lying down, etc.
This applies to me as well. /sob sob

@Stone;
I really can't say much, it's a wonderful photo, though I can't seem to distinguish the actual flame from the melted wax? Might just be my eyes, because I'm supposed to wear glasses xD
And I was wondering in anyone knew of a way to practice sketching? -shot-
I mean, HOW should I practice it? My kittens are very hyper-active, not to mention one is.. overweight and has some physical things wrong with him, so I'd probably have trouble sketching off them.
And when I practice sketch should I just sketch the body or also sketch where I assume the joints are? Thanks xD
