i’m kind of surprised that reaper and mccree are getting new skins since they both got new skins for the summer event too. i’d like to see maybe ana, sombra, and mei (still holding out for mei-dusa!). doomfist and orisa would be nice too since they’re just newer. i’m always here for new lucio content and there are several good ideas i’ve seen for d.va......... i’m just excited for everything lol

Well rip mercy ;o; Shes already getting nerfed.
I understand why though, she's been a must pick for teams.
(This is all i know for now! Not sure if anything else was nerfed/buffed)

New PTR mercy nerfs...
- valk doesnt reset res cooldown
- valk res now is 30 seconds (regular time for non valk-ing res)
- angel hops / slingshotting removed
New PTR mercy buffs...
- doubled res range

Kinda upset about it tbh. They kinda made her ult a
walmart brand zen ult and orisa ult (if buffing the team).
People were saying shes "unkillable" in her valk form.
I agree, but most the time soldier or mccree would pop their ults
just to kill me. Easy as that. I've even high noon'd a valk-ing
mercy, its really easy. I can see if you're trying to kill her
normally, you'd have to have pretty good aim for that.

Plus, I feel the nerfing for the res is way to much. Im okay
with no more res reset when ulting. But that and 30 seconds now?
10 seconds was way to fast for her res, but 30 seconds is way to long.
Whats the point of her ult now? I feel like I'll just use it to escape now
cause thats the only use for it in my opinion.

I dunno how to feel about this.

I'm honestly a little glad she's getting nerfed
I play Mercy a lot, and even I was beginning to feel like she was a little OP. If one team had her and the other did not, the former team was almost guaranteed to win.

An ulting Mercy is a nightmare, especially if she starts shooting at you. She's got this itty bitty hitbox in that form and it's hard to take her down if you don't have your ult up. I've done it without ult, but it's not fun and it certainly isn't easy.

I'm most excited about the greater res distance, as I cant count the number of times I missed a rez because I just wasn't like right on top of the body.

the rez cooldown reduction AND reset were a bit much, but i think taking one or the other away would have been better than removing both. because yeah, otherwise the ult just isn’t very good tbh. but i’m glad she’s still being adjusted, because i don’t think she’s in the right place yet in the live game either.

she wasn’t unbeatable. i could still solo heal as lucio and beat a team with a mercy. but i think a lot of support players were/are feeling pressured to play mercy even if they normally play a different healer, because of her being perceived as being so op—and with her ult as it is now, she’s certainly op for those 20 seconds, but outside of that she can still just be focused and killed like before.

idk. all my feelings about mercy these days are conflicted. all i really know is that i don’t particularly like to play her anymore, although my enjoyment had been decreasing since before the rework too.
