So I haven't been roleplaying much lately.... And I was wondering if anyone would be interested in doing a casual 1x1 with no basic plot planning at all? Just starting off with two characters, taking it from there - drama would build naturally as it moved on. I just really want to write, and am in need for something active XD.

still looking for these two plots...

a man, teacher, is accused of having relations with a student that never happened, and spends a good amount of time in jail. He undergoes some traumatizing things there, and when he gets out, he has to leave, after being ridiculed by the town he used to live in. He moves and settles down in a small town where he thinks things will be fine, finding a job in some small restaurant or something. He thinks no one will find out about what had happened, and a man grows interested in him. He's super wary of it after what happened to him in the prison, but he eventually comes to realize the man is gentle and means him no harm, but shortly after he begins to return affections things get out about what happens, and he's accused of more things, and so yeah... things go from there.

A family setting of a male couple adopting a young child. Would like a mature partner for this.

Clooooudykins! Actually in the same boat. I have so much random muse right now. If you'd forgive me for our last 1x1 I'd gladly take you up on that offer.

Yup, Imma do one of these.

Code: Select all
How comfortable would you be if a rp partner asked you to critique/comment on their writing style? Would you do what they asked, or tell them you'd rather not?

I personally would do my best to answer their question but I don't know how honest I could be in fear of offending them. I think it would depend on how well I think the other person would take it, and how long we have been role playing. I have been thinking about asking a few of my partners but I have been reluctant because I don't want to make anyone feel uncomfortable. That, and recently my writing has sucked, almost as bad as my reply time.

cat rp idea

Postby king boo » Wed Jan 29, 2014 10:32 pm

I need a cat rp that ISN'T warriors or strays.

I had an idea for a small group rp of cats that live together in a barn were there is only a slight hierarchy of the oldest cat being the leader, everyone else is a cat that hunts and fights, there is also one cat that heals and fights so let's say its similar to a medicine cat yet they don't talk to their ancestors yet they can have a mate and kits and don't have a higher rank then the cats that hunt and fight. Kits begin training at 5 moons because the barn and farm is safer then the forest and the trainees can only enter the wilderness outside the barn after two moons of training. Obviously queens and kits are the same as in the warrior books and the eldest cats help the leader in desicion making. They have no true beliefs in the afterlife as they focus on life unlike tribes and clans who worship the dead. They don't have borders either as they hunt where necessary and usually go further in winter. It would be nice to experiment with cat ways of life rather then just seeing the same old clan, tribe or stray rp.

    Intrest?, feedback?

honestly i am like not comfortable at all.

because i'm frightened i'll offend them if i criticize too harshly, but i'm also frightened if i say it's really good they'll think i'm being dishonest or trying to flatter them or something.
i like dragon capitalism a lot lmao

    ooh i missed this

i'm very comfortable with it, and i can be very blunt, although i try to make my words nice so i don't offend them; they're my friends and it is friendly criticism to help them improve <3
if i do offend them, then i do. they asked for the critique!

Depends on how much I like them and how much I like the roleplay xP if I really like the roleplay and I think they won't take critism well, I'm not going to do it since I don't want to lose that partner. However if I think they would, then I'll go ahead. If I'm really good friends with someone critiquing their work doesn't work well for me, since I'm super biased and just think it's good.
