@anyone looking for an anime - have any of you tried The Devil Is A Part-Timer? IMO, it's my faveourite anime, by far...
For manga, and i guess anime, it's got to be Blood lad... Those two are my faveourites so, yeah.... 10/10 would recommend.

Well, I never actually finished it, but from what I did see of it, SAO wasn't really my kind of anime, I didn't like it all that much. That's just my personal opinion though, and who know, it could have gotten better, but I juts wasn't interested. <33

Don't just go by my opinion though, you should watch it and see what you think of it, you may really like it.

@Misty, I am not a huge fan (Resulting in me only watching to episode 19 in season 2 before stopping) but I will give you my opinion/run down of it.

SAO has an interesting plot that is attractive for many gamers who watch anime, and it keeps you going. The whole virtual reality was understandable enough, and the battle scenes were cool. A warning much of the anime revolves around the romance of the two main characters, and I've heard some fans complain that it was too focused on their relationship and not enough on the fighting 'n' whatnot. Personally, there were some disturbing unnecessary scenes (then again the vast majority of anime have some kind of form of that eventually) but the ending of season 1 made me feel happy. Season 2 was even more disturbing (Not all the time, but more than 1) which is why I stopped. A side factor that bothered me a lot was that nothing was very well explained, like the skills, weapons, items, etc... and it mostly focused on the main character's crazy OP abilities.

Ultimately, I have nothing against the show but suggest watching Log Horizon instead. (basically a much more explained and less disturbing SAO)
