Does anyone have any ideas, or recommendations?

It seems that I've figured out how to work the Coliseum, but I only have two dragons and I need three in order to most efficiently win battles and level up. Is buying a dragon the best way to get a cheap new dragon? Or is there another way you guys would suggest getting a new dragon?
