At least 3 other species I know that moved from CS to DA have died there, not sure if its any indication but that's what Ive seen. DA (before Eclipse) used to be more "steamlined" to hold breedings etc. but after Eclipse was forced onto everyone, things are no longer steamlined, on the contrary, rather cluttered and many features are inconvenient to use, and getting worse and worse with each update.

They've clearly changed direction from art hosting site to quick picture scrolling/selling site, I guess Eclipse helps them reap more money from mobile users? Not sure how much it helps because its buggy and laggy for said mobile users too, and I see a lot of critique that the admins on DA simply ignore.

Not sure how hosting a species on DA will even work out now. Ive checked a few of ARPG groups I was a part of, several are dead, and many of those that arent have moved their activity/archives to individual hosted sites, using DA mainly for sending news notifications it seems.

Yeah, im so mad they changed it...
I can still look at my art without logging in, but in my groups that have a ton of pictures it starts making my Kindle act weird. Like...it won't scroll right.

Hopefully the Grel group on DA can survive.

I need to I guess look into things more as I've never been a big DA user. I just know some have before wanted me to move some of my species there to be ran.
I mainly just wanna get them more well known than anything. Be a place people could drop art of their Grellies and others from the Realms.
I also do wanna run them on Discord and idk if I might consider IG just to get the species more known. Greleifcents have new lines off CS but I'd still be using mostly here, especially artists. While my Skeleton horses are being drawn here.
