Rather than drawing 'angelic' wings, since I guess a lot of people will be doing that i've based my wings on those of the early feathered dinosaurs. The colours are based on red wolves/huskies and the feathers are pheonix colours. The body jewels and the ribbons are just a bit of fun to provide some contrast and to add to the whole 'mythical' look.
