Thanks. I took the outline out (layer 4). It wasn't really serving any purpose at this point. I had a slightly better version of this cleaned up after the outlines were taken out, but what do computers like to do when you think you reached near perfection? Anyways, I had to start over from my last posting and do that part over. 
(a little note to everyone: If you're in "floating mode" and the pop-up window doesn't close after saving, don't try to edit again with that window open, or even worse continue to work on that window. At least not until you close it out.)
