He was taken in by another mother with two female pups, she was a great mother and he loved her more than anything. His father never seemed to like him or have any interest in him. He talked to him only when absolutely neccessary and avoided him as best as he could. Katsumi felt he was flawed because of the way his father treated him, but he never let how much it hurt him show. He was always outstanding during training, always trying his best, but somtimes going against orders to try and impress the older wolves. He learned to make a lot of friends since he had no brothers or sisters. He is an amazing fighter, like his mother, he is also a great hunter and he loves hunting but since his father is a hunter he doesn't let it show. The pain and sadness that his father has caused him to by angry at his father.
History:
On a particularly cold, sharp night during the beginning of winter, there was a small celebration as a tiny pup was born. They're was much excitment for the pup since his mother and father were likeable in every way, his arrival had been eagerly awaited. It was expected to be a big litter, his mother from a litter of four, his father from a litter of six, but the small tan colored pup was the only ball of fur nestled into his mother as the sun broke the horizon and shattered the freezing night. It was supposed to be a happy day, but only minutes after the sun had risen, the small pup wimpered as his mother got up and left. Seconds later he left a tug on his scruff and he was placed next to another wolf, this one almost as warm and soft and the one before. He happily burried himself in her cozy fur and dozed off to sleep. The days fallowing were filled with sadness, but eventually that day was forgotten and everthing was back to the way it was before the pup came. It was a small event in the world, but for the little pup born on that day, it was bigger than anything.
Katsumi's mother taught him to track as soon as he could come out of the den, he was as focused as possible, but still more often then not ended up fallowing some small woodland animal to see where it would lead him. His mother was always encouraging, and never impatient. By the time he was six months old he could track animals considerably well and knew as many hunting methods as his mother could teach him. He was shaping up to be a very fine hunter, and he was proud of that.
On his first hunt he impressed everyone and he never felt more happy. He bounced through the grass to his father and told him every last detail. He expected his father to be happy, he desperatly wanted him to be happy, but just like most everything Katsumi told his father, he showed little interest and fled away from Katsumi and soon as he'd got the last word out. Katsumi didn't understand why his father didn't like him, didn't care about him, and he was filled with sarrow over the matter. Katsumi's dad was a hunter, why didn't he like that his son was trying as hard as he could to fallow in his footsteps?
The evening after his first hunt, Katsumi trotted up to his father and asked him to teach him how to fight. Katsumi always thought that fathers were supposed to teach their pups about fighting. His father glared at him with his blue eyes, Katsumi realized that his father had never looked at him staight in the eye, for Katsumi had always thought his fathers eyes were a light shade of green. His fathers eyes were filled first with anger, and then a deep, peircing sarrow that caused Katsumi to drop his gaze. His father got up and walked away, and Katsumi was angry, and sad, with his father ever since.
By the time Katsumi was 20 years old he wondered why his mother was light grey with black spots, and that his father was a light dusty color with a few black stripes her or there, and yet he was light golden with many black stripes and spots. Both his mother and his fathers eyes were blue, but his were gold. His curiosity was built only further by the fact that his mother and father had never talked to each other. One day Katsumi asked his mother about it all, why he looked like he did, why his father didn't like him, why he refused to teach him how to fight. And his "mother" told him everything. She told him how he had the eyes of his mother, looked excactly like her. He was very confused by this, but his "mother" told him the rest and he understood. He had never known his mother, knew nothing of her except that the final words she ever spoke were to him, the words, "I love you, Katsumi". His father was angry because her last words were not to him, but to Katsumi, and everytime he looked at Katsumi, all he could see was his mother. Katsumi's mom was a defender, but she lost her biggest battle of all, and Katsumi made a promise to her that he would be the best defender he could, he no longer wanted to be a hunter, as his father was one. He still loved his father and felt the same sarrow as him, and still loved the she'wolf that he had known as his mother all these years, but he knew that no matter what, he loved his real mother more than anything.
Katsumi is now a great Defender, just finished his training. He will continue building his skills, he still doesn't talk to his father, who is growing old, but he is starting to become happy again, because he knows his mother will always be with him and she will still love him no matter what he does.
I hope I didn't go over board with it XD I want him to become an official Isnorah so bad though ^.^ Great job with the species Tundra!
