Frizz Lineart Entry

Postby SpeedyJay » Fri Aug 16, 2019 7:16 pm

WIP, lots of color layers to add. ^^
Done~

I am willing to add accessories, just let me know what kind (or just a list is good) and if you want the pups to have the same accessories.

Add on notes:
Tall: Short hair & Long hair
Short: Short hair & Long hair
Ears: Pointy, Floppy, & Pointy+Floppy
Tails: Bob tail, Big curl, Plume tail, Whippet tail(Thought this was good for racers, they're nice agile pups), FluffyDog tail, & Bird shape(Fur not feathers)
Puppies: 3 pups, all have every add on above

I gasped when you said you follow me! Can't believe anyone follows me especially when I often just spam a bunch of messy sketches, ha! ^^'

Glad you like it! <3 I've finished the color layers(and added a few color palettes). If you'd like me to add accessories, let me know what kind of accessories you're interested in~

It's so beautiful, I'm so happy skskakska
~But everything you draw is so beautiful and cute!

You don't have to worry about items too much. I don't have the original concept papers anymore, but item
wise I'm pretty sure I was mostly thinking fairly basic stuff. The only things I can think of being mostly. interested
in for items is' collar(s), small cape, and a bracelet type thing. (As you can see, I didn't think super far ahead.)
If you want to add items, you don't have to worry about adding all of them. Top priority would just be the
collar, and they don't need to be on the pups, only the grown ups. Thank you very much!

Thanks! <3

Sure, I'll see about adding a few collars and bracelets! If I add a cape, it will be hanging on the opposite side so it doesn't interfere with the design.

Glad you do! ^^ I've added all I can think of at the moment, let me know if you find any mistakes and I'll fix them. (Or if you'd like anything else added)

My last idea was about adding a head accessory. First thought was that some might like to "bedazzle" their faces, which I thought was kinda cute/funny, but I would understand if you don't want them there. I can edit or remove them if you don't like them! ^^
They're above the Head lineart layer in a folder if you want to check them~

That was such a creative idea, they look great, there's no way I would want you to get rid of them! This looks so cool, I'm so grateful for how much effort you put into this, I can't thank you enough! I was honestly losing steam for this adoptable idea, but now all of my excitement is regained. (Sorry if I'm being a little over excited, it's just that this is literally everything I could have ever wanted.)

Great! The effort was worth it, just glad you liked it all! ^^ Can't wait for these racers, it's a really fun concept!

Here's my pen settings for the edits:
Main lines:
Pen size 2 (2 or 3 if without pen pressure)
Full opacity
Smoothing 30, or whatever is preferred

Gem lines:
I did these with Pen size 1 on full opacity, but when I do lines this thin, I duplicate them, because they're pretty transparent.
Explanation: I do the lines, duplicate the layer, drop the duplicate layer's opacity to about 50%, then merge the lines.

^I know that sounds ridiculous, but it looks so much better than doing small stuff with a big pen or seeing the color inconsistently inside the thin lines.
