Here's my pen settings for the edits:
Main lines:Pen size 2 (2 or 3 if without pen pressure)
Full opacity
Smoothing 30, or whatever is preferred
Gem lines:I did these with Pen size 1 on full opacity, but when I do lines this thin, I duplicate them, because they're pretty transparent.
Explanation: I do the lines, duplicate the layer, drop the duplicate layer's opacity to about 50%, then merge the lines.
^I know that sounds ridiculous, but it looks so much better than doing small stuff with a big pen or seeing the color inconsistently inside the thin lines.
